Portugal bounced back brilliantly after their shocking defeat to Ireland in the last World Cup qualifier. This time, Bruno Fernandes completed his brace to give the Portuguese side an untouchable lead, with Armenia thrown out of the contest. Fernandes wrapped up his hat-trick by scoring the second penalty of Portugal vs Armenia match as Portugal took a six-goal lead. Neves also registered his hat-trick by scoring his third in the 81st minute. Before the final whistle, Francisco Conceição put the final nail in Armenia's coffin, to ensure a 9-1 win for Portugal.
