PSG vs Toulouse Player Ratings

Paris Saint-Germain strengthened their position at the top of Ligue 1 with a 3-1 win over Toulouse at Parc des Princes, moving four points clear of second-placed Lens. This article reflects on PSG vs Toulouse player ratings from the match on 3rd April, 2026.

PSG took the lead in the 23rd minute when Ousmane Dembélé struck a powerful volley. Toulouse equalised soon after as captain Rasmus Nicolaisen capitalised on a costly error from Matvei Safonov. The hosts restored their advantage before half-time, with Dembélé scoring again from close range.

The second half was more controlled than explosive, with PSG dominating possession and limiting Toulouse’s opportunities. Their superiority was reflected in the numbers, as they finished with 72% possession, 17 shots and 1.79 expected goals, while Toulouse managed just 0.16 xG and only one shot on target.

Substitute Gonçalo Ramos sealed the result in stoppage time, curling a precise finish into the bottom corner shortly after coming on.

The victory keeps PSG’s momentum strong ahead of next Wednesday’s Champions League quarter-final first leg against Liverpool. Their scheduled Ligue 1 match against Lens has been postponed, while Toulouse return to league action on April 12 against Lille.

PSG Player Ratings vs Toulouse

Check out PSG Player Ratings from the Ligue 1 match:

Goalkeeper

Matvey Safonov - 5.0: A very shaky evening for the PSG keeper. He was credited with an error leading to a goal, which is a nightmare for any number one. We noticed his command of the box was questionable, especially on the corner that led to Toulouse's goal. He didn't have many saves to make otherwise but looked low on confidence. A performance he will want to forget quickly.

Defenders

Achraf Hakimi - 7.5: A typically energetic performance from the captain. He was a constant outlet on the right flank, providing width and creating two key passes. His defensive duties were minimal, but he was solid when called upon. He even had a couple of pops at goal himself, showing his attacking intent.

Ilya Zabarnyi - 7.0: A very composed display at the back. His passing was immaculate, with a 93% accuracy from over 100 passes. He read the game well and was a calming presence. He wasn't tested too strenuously, but what he had to do, he did with class. Very solid.

Willian Pacho - 7.0: Much like his partner, Pacho was extremely comfortable in possession, boasting a remarkable 97% pass accuracy. He was strong in the tackle and made several important clearances and interceptions. He even forced a good save with a shot from inside the box. A very tidy performance.

Lucas Hernández - 6.5: A quiet but effective game from the Frenchman. He was diligent in his defensive work and used the ball intelligently, rarely giving it away. He didn't offer as much going forward as Hakimi but provided excellent balance to the backline. Job done.

Midfielders

Warren Zaïre-Emery - 7.5: The engine of the PSG midfield. He was everywhere, breaking up play and driving the team forward. He won a majority of his duels and showed great maturity and strength on the ball. An all-action display from the young prodigy who continues to impress us.

Désiré Doué - 6.5: An active but ultimately frustrating performance. He got into good positions and was heavily involved, but his final product was lacking. He was a bit wasteful in possession and spurned a couple of shooting opportunities. A decent outing but could have been much more.

Lucas Beraldo - 6.5: Played in a midfield role and did a respectable job before being substituted. He kept the ball moving and made a few important tackles. He didn't set the world on fire but was a functional part of the team's dominant first-half display. Solid enough.

Forwards

Ousmane Dembélé - 9.5: The undisputed man of the match and our highest-rated player. He was simply sensational, a constant threat with his pace and dribbling. He scored two excellent goals, showing a clinical edge that has sometimes been missing. Toulouse had no answer for him. From our perspective, this was Dembélé at his devastating best.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia - 9.0: A fantastic performance from the Georgian winger. He was a creative force, providing a beautiful assist for Dembélé's second goal and creating a host of other chances. His dribbling and vision were a joy to watch. He was a nightmare for the Toulouse defence all evening.

Kang-in Lee - 7.5: The creative hub of the team before his substitution. He created five chances for his teammates, showing his incredible eye for a pass. He buzzed around the final third, linking play effectively. PSG looked slightly less inventive after he went off.

Substitutes

Gonçalo Ramos - 7.5: Came on and sealed the win with a well-taken goal from distance. An ideal impact from the bench.

Nuno Mendes - 7.0: Provided the assist for Ramos's goal and looked lively after coming on.

Vitinha - 6.5: Helped see out the game with his calm presence in midfield.

João Neves - 6.5: Slotted in well and kept the ball moving.

Manager

L. Martínez García - 8.0: Set his team up to dominate and they did exactly that. His game plan allowed his attacking stars to shine. His substitutions were timely and effective, with two of them combining for the final goal. A very good day at the office.

Toulouse Player Ratings vs Paris Saint Germain

Here are Toulouse player ratings:

Goalkeeper

Guillaume Restes - 6.0: It's tough to be a goalkeeper against PSG. He conceded three goals but it could have been more without his saves. He couldn't do much about Dembélé's clinical finishes. A busy and thankless task for him tonight.

Defenders

Rasmus Nicolaisen - 7.0: The captain led by example, scoring a great header to bring his team level. He fought hard defensively but was part of a backline that was ultimately overwhelmed. He can hold his head high for his personal contribution, though.

Mark McKenzie - 5.0: A really difficult evening for the American defender. He struggled to contain the fluid movement and pace of PSG's attackers. He was dribbled past and found it hard to impose himself on the game. A learning experience for him.

Seny Koumbassa - 5.5: Had a tough time dealing with the onslaught from Dembélé and Kvaratskhelia. He was often caught in two minds and struggled with the pace of the game. He made a couple of clearances but was largely on the back foot.

Midfielders

Djibril Sidibé - 6.5: Provided a quality delivery from the corner for his team's only goal. He worked hard on the flank but offered little else going forward before being substituted. His contribution for the goal boosts his rating significantly.

Pape Demba Diop - 6.5: A tireless worker in the heart of midfield. He made an incredible 13 ball recoveries, showing his commitment and reading of the game. He was fighting a losing battle against PSG's quality but never stopped running. A commendable effort.

Cristian Cásseres Jr. - 5.5: A combative but limited performance. He picked up a yellow card and gave away possession cheaply at times. He battled hard but was often bypassed by the slick PSG midfield. Not his best day.

Dayann Methalie - 5.0: Largely anonymous during his time on the pitch. He struggled to get involved in the game and committed several fouls. It was no surprise to us when he was the first player substituted.

Forwards

Yann Gboho - 5.0: A thankless task leading the line. He was completely isolated and starved of service. He lost the ball frequently and was caught offside twice. He worked hard but had virtually no impact on the game.

Aron Dønnum - 5.0: A very poor performance. He committed four fouls and offered nothing in an attacking sense. He seemed more interested in battling with opponents than playing football. A frustrating watch.

Emersonn - 6.0: He was one of the few Toulouse attackers who looked like he might make something happen. He tried to take players on and had a shot on goal. However, his end product was poor and he lost possession too easily.

Substitutes

Warren Kamanzi - 6.0: Came on and provided more stability than Methalie.

Mário Sauer - N/A: Not enough time to make an impact.

Ilyas Azizi - N/A: Not enough time to make an impact.

Jacen Russell-Rowe - N/A: Not enough time to make an impact.

Manager

C. Martínez Novell - 6.0: His team showed heart to equalize but the tactical plan couldn't contain PSG's superior talent. He tried to change things with substitutions but the game was already slipping away. There was little more he could do against such formidable opposition.
