Arknights Endfield Guide: Beginners Tips, Tricks and Strategies

The highly anticipated gacha title Arknights Endfield is now live and available worldwide. This new Arknights game introduces new gameplay elements that not only focus on combat and exploration but also incorporate an automation mechanic. As you return to the Talos-II, you will be heavily focused on spending most of your time creating your own factory and unlocking the world part by part.

This will also make your future gameplay much easier, thanks to your earlier commitment to the factory creation. We have got a few tips up our sleeve in this Arknights Endfield guide, which might help you to create your factory while keeping the complicated stuff out of the way.

Arknights Endfield Gameplay Mechanics

One of the first things that you will realize when you take part in Arknights: Endfield combat is that the skills of your characters are not free, like some of the other community favourite gacha titles. In most gacha games, the skills of a character have a small cooldown, and after that, you are free to spam them again on their foes. As mentioned before, if you think you are getting overwhelmed by so many complex mechanics, then just follow our guide; it will definitely solve most of your challenges in-game.

In Arknights Endfield, GRYPHLINE has introduced a new in-game mechanic, Skill Points. If you look at the bottom of your screen, you should be able to see Skill Points (Yellow Bar), with a maximum of three. When you use one of those characters' Battle Skill, then one of those bars gets used and starts regenerating, but very slowly.

And if by any chance you run out of those Skill Points, then you won't be able to use any further Battle Skills until the yellow bar regenerates. Now, there is one thing that you can do, which is boost the regeneration speed of the Skill Points, and that can be done when a character that you are controlling lands a final strike on their foe. So if you don't wanna lose the ability to spam your Battle Skills, make sure you land those final strikes via basic attacks.

Collect anything that you see around in Endfield

In an open-world game like Arknights: Endfield, staying aware of your surroundings is one of the most crucial things. Every corner of the game has something to offer, from world quests to hidden chests and collectable items. One of the mistakes that most players in these games make is ignoring the items that are lying around. In the latter part of the game, when the materials will be required to promote your characters to the next tier, you will struggle to find them.

Arknights Endfield Characters

Arknights: Endfield has made its debut with 23 playable characters, who will be affiliated with one of the five elements (Physical, Heat, Cryo, Electric, and Nature) in-game. These characters will be dealing damage through either elemental reaction or via pure Physical DMG. In the future, more characters will be introduced with various weapons and elemental affinity option, these are your playable characters :

Among these, Laevatain is the first-ever limited banner character for Arknights: Endfield. So if you wanna start with a bang in this game, then you'd better save those precious Oroberyly. Also, some of the characters will be available for free in Arknights Endfield once you progress in the main story.

PAC (Protocol Anchor Core) is your new moveable home

At the early stage of the game, you will be introduced to the factory automation mechanic, and it mostly revolves around the PAC. This system is created by default in every area through a designated quest, and once it's established, you will be able to build most of your factory structures around it.

When you initially start building the factory, your PAC at the time will be built in the middle of a small area, which might make it difficult to operate. But, rest assured, there is a way to move it around, and that too anywhere you want. All you have to do is get close to the PAC and click on the Protocol Management option, and you will be able to access the move button, which is at the bottom.

Arknights Endfield Currencies

Every gacha game has a few sets of specific currencies that players can utilise to summon their favourite characters and weapons, depending on the banner type, and Arknights: Endfield is no different. In Endfield, Oroberyl and Origeometry are the two main currencies, which you will get while completing the various quests in Arknights: Endfield.

Each Origeometry can be converted into 75 Oroberyly, while 500 units of Oroberyly will get you a permit, which can be used for a headhunting banner(summon) to get a character. But we will suggest holding onto those Oroberyly, instead of spending them as soon as you get them. The gacha system for this game is complex compared to the other known titles.

So only pull on a banner when you have guaranteed 120 pulls; otherwise, it's not worth it. The chest that you will find will not only reward you with high-end in-game items, but it will also provide you with a significant amount of XP, which will help you to level up your account.
