Assassin’s Creed Shadows x Attack on Titan Collab Announced: Full Release Schedule Out

Ubisoft has announced a big new Update for the game Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, where you will now be able to play through a new limited-time quest, with themed items, based on Attack on Titan as a crossover event.

The crossover event begins on November 25, 2025, and will be available until December 22, 2025. Players can start the quest by visiting the Yamashiro region, north of Hanazo Tower, after unlocking Yasuke as a playable character. The inclusion of Attack on Titan in Assassin's Creed Shadows is one of the largest updates since the game launched.

Ubisoft has continued to support the game through multiple patch updates and expansion packs, but bringing in a major anime series like Attack on Titan is an obvious strategy to bring players back to the game. As mentioned earlier, the crossover event will run until December 22, giving fans about a month to check out all the content that is available for the crossover event between both games.

The New Quest Brings a Titan Threat Into Feudal Japan

This new story mode is completely separate from the main storyline. The story starts in the Yamashiro region, where players encounter a woman named Ada who has been taken by a cult that is performing experiments involving the use of forbidden rituals to control a Titan-Shifter, as well as creating a new type of threat from an age that does not exist.
The cult is hiding out in the Crystal Cave, and Naoe and Yasuke will accompany Ada into the cave. The mission consists of battling through the cult to find out what they are planning to do and find a new monstrous enemy that has been inspired by the Titan forms shown in the anime series.

In addition to the story mode, Ubisoft has also added an Attack on Titan Dual Pack to the in-game store. This dual pack will include themed clothing, weapons, charms, and even a mount that is based on the anime series.

For players who wish to give their characters a more anime look, there will also be a number of cosmetic items to choose from that are based on Mikasa and Titan designs.

AC Shadows Update 1.1.6 Drops With New Features and Fixes

The update also improves Corrupted Castles, reducing repetition between seasons and making Daisho rewards more balanced. A long list of bug fixes covers crashes, missing items, broken animations, pet availability, and quest blockers reported by the community.

Patch sizes vary by platform, with Xbox Series X/S players downloading the largest update at 14.7 GB and Steam players downloading about 4.4 GB.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. The game will also arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on December 2, giving the crossover even more reach during its month-long run.
