Players have been creating Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem decks since the new card first arrived in a limited-time Hero Ice Golem Challenge event. The card was recently introduced on January 19 as a new Hero card. I personally spent some time testing how the new hero card works and found the best ways to use it in various decks to make them even better.

5 Best Meta Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem Decks

Before diving deep, let's check how different Hero Ice Golem is from the standard version. The Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem has reduced stats compared to its standard version when upgraded to Level 15, doing less damage with attacks and on death, along with having less HP as well.

However, all of this is compensated for by the fact that it's getting a new Hero ability, Snowstorm.

With a two-elixir cost, this ability summons a blizzard around the Hero Ice Golem after a one-second delay, which slows down all enemies caught in a four-tile radius around it. The next second, it releases another pulse of energy that knocks back any enemies caught in the radius. This is followed by a third and final pulse that freezes enemies in place for two seconds. 1. HeroMuskGolem Hog

The standard HeroMusk Hog deck is one of the best Clash Royale meta decks right now, providing immense defense and great attacking power with Hog Rider and Hero Musketeer leading the charge. However, with the introduction of the new Hero card, the deck has now evolved and has become even better, instantly becoming one of the best Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem decks.

The main strategy of this deck is to cycle through your cards as quickly as you can so that you can play Hog Rider and Hero Ice Golem together for six elixir, followed by a Hero Musketeer as support for a total of ten elixir. You can use Snowstorm for two elixir during attacks to make your Hog reach the enemy tower. The Evolved Cannon helps with defense and offense when it rains down missiles, along with Evolved Skeletons and Ice Spirit. Fireball and Log are great spells that are handy during both offense and defense.

2. HeroGolem Loon

The HeroGolem Loon is an amazing deck that will soon enter the Hero Ice Golem meta. This deck effectively uses the Snowstorm of the Hero Ice Golem to slow down enemies while your Balloon quickly reaches your enemy towers.

As one of the meta Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem decks, the main offense of this deck is the combo of Hero Ice Golem's Snowstorm, Balloon, and Miner, followed by an Evolved Musketeer, all on your opponent's side of the field. All other cards are purely for defense, which also includes the Evolved Musketeer and the Hero Ice Golem as potent all-rounders.

3. EvoRoyal HeroGolem

The EvoRoyal HeroGolem deck is one of the best Clash Royale Hero Ice Golem decks because it effectively dealt with most Clash Royale meta decks that I came across. Since using charging troops like Hog Rider and Ram Rider have become part of the meta along with the lumbering Mega Knight, the Hunter is an essential card for dealing with them while defending.

The Evolved Royal Hogs and Royal Ghost are your main attackers, along with the Snowstorm of the Hero Ice Golem (who can also defend) and Three Musketeers. Everything else should be treated as defensive cards, which also includes playing the Three Musketeers behind your crown tower.

4. GoblinRam HeroGolem

The GoblinRam HeroGolem deck has some interesting off-meta inclusions like Goblinstein and Void, which makes this deck work unexpectedly well. The Lumberjack is essential in this deck, since the Rage effect it leaves after dying is important for Goblinstein and Ram Rider to reach enemy towers faster. The Hero Ice Golem and Evolved Bomber Skeletons are used mostly as defense, which can initiate an offense if they survive.

The same goes for the inclusion of the Evolved Goblin Cage, which is great for trapping Hog Rider. The Hero Ice Golem with Snowstorm and Balloon plus Miner combo should be your main attack, with everything else serving primarily as defense.
