Battlegrounds Mobile India is preparing for its 4.3 update. The update delivers new gameplay features together with new abilities and map modifications and performance enhancements which transform how teams compete in matches.

The BGMI 4.3 release date is expected around March 19, 2026. Android devices will receive the update during its morning rollout window while iOS devices will obtain it after their store approval process.

The Specialization System stands as the primary element of BGMI 4.3 Update changes. On Spawn Island, players choose a role that upgrades from Tier C to Tier S as the match progresses.

Available specializations include:

• Combat – Elimination provides for a quick speed boost and faster reloads to aid pushing the challenge at every knock.
• Healing – Getting more powerful healing items and reviving a teammate faster during squad fights.
• Recon – The system enables tracking of enemy footprints which extends beyond regular time limits because it assists users in pursuing their opponents who move between different locations.
• Detection – The ability allows players to stay hidden from nearby enemies while they remain in a prone position for a brief period which helps their team to clear complete buildings.
• Vehicle – Increased durability of vehicle while reducing fuel consumption through long runs.

After being unlocked in Ranking S, the Portable Shield, gives temporary cover during late-circle fights.

New Weapon

The update adds the M1 Garand, which functions as a semi-automatic designated marksman rifle that uses 7.62mm ammunition. The rifle provides high damage output through its medium- to long-range combat capabilities while producing the traditional "ping" sound which occurs when the last bullet in the clip is fired.

Map Changes, Activities, Performance and Visual Improvements

The classic Erangel map receives several interactive additions:

• Pochinki Gliding Rails enable quick rooftop access between different buildings.
• Vehicle Racing Checkpoints provide players with timed driving tests that grant them loot as rewards.
