BGMI 4.5 Update Set to Launch Later This Month: Mark Your Calendars

One of the biggest updates in Battlegrounds Mobile India is arriving shortly. The new BGMI 4.5 version introduces a Naruto theme to the game with new themed locations, bosses, ninja skills, and co-op events. In addition to these exciting gameplay features, the players will get unique rewards inspired by the lore of the Hidden Leaf Village theme.

BGMI 4.5 Update Release Date and Expected Rollout

The BGMI 4.5 Update release date is expected to be July 16, 2026. The core gameplay stays the same; each map offers different themed locations and features. Erangel will feature a new themed mode, Ninjas Assemble, with locations and ninja mechanics from Naruto Shippuden.

Livik will also have all locations from the popular anime, such as the Ninja Academy, Valley of the End, and Chunin Exam Finals Arena, along with all the new ninjas' gear. The new A20 Royal Pass is also set to arrive along with the BGMI 4.5 update.

BGMI x Naruto Shippuden Collaboration Overview

The BGMI x Naruto Shippuden collaboration introduces the Nine-Tails boss, one of the biggest gameplay additions in the update. Unlike regular enemies, the boss can appear in different states. It may be sleeping, roaming the map, or controlling a base before players challenge it.

How does the Nine-Tails Boss Battle work?

In the BGMI New 4.5 update, the Nine-Tails boss battle unfolds in two phases. During the first phase, players must reduce the boss's health to around 80% before it retreats. During this break, they can collect loot and may obtain the Tailed Beast Transformation ability.

Then the boss returns in a buffed state. Defeating it rewards players with valuable supplies, Chakra, and the Reanimation Jutsu, which allows teams to recall one eliminated teammate. The Tailed Beast Transformation also boosts healing, movement speed, and Chakra recovery for a limited time.

Hidden Leaf Village Defence Event Explained

The BGMI Naruto event can randomly begin during themed matches. When it starts, all remaining players receive the Hidden Leaf Village Guardian mission. The Nine-Tails travels across Erangel, stopping near Gatka and Pochinki before reaching the Hidden Leaf Village. Players can attack it along the way to reduce its health before the final fight.
