CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals Day 1: Teams, Schedule, Venue and Stream

The Chennai Esports Global Championship has reached its ultimate stage. The CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals will be hosted at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium in Chennai from November 14 to 16, 2025. The grand finals will feature 16 top BGMI teams from the country for a massive prize pool of 50 lakhs INR. This is not going to be a usual finals but a dress rehearsal for all the teams as they prepare themselves for the next BGMI season.

The CEGC 2025 BGMI tournament is one of its kind, being organised by the Sports Development Authority of Tamil Nadu. The CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals feature 8 teams each from the semi-finals and last chance qualifiers. The first two stages of the event were hosted online, but the grand finals are going to be a full-blown LAN event with fans in attendance.

CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals Day 1: Qualified Teams

The CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals will be played by 16 teams. The lobby is going to be stacked with some high-profile teams. From PMGC-bound Infinix True Rippers to fan-favourite iQOO Soul, here is the list of all the teams that will be playing in the grand finals of the tournament.

CEGC 2025 BGMI Grand Finals Day 1: Schedule & Format

CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals will begin on November 14, 2025. The grand finals will see a total of 18 matches. Each day of the grand finals will feature 6 matches. The finals will be played on 3 maps: Erangle, Miramar and Rondo. One key addition to the grand finals stage of CEGC 2025 is the introduction of the Smash Rule on the final day. This is sure going to spark some intense gun games and chase scenarios on the final day of the event.

What is Smash Rule?

According to the tournament rules, all 16 teams will play their usual matches till the second day of the grand finals. On CEGC 2025 BGMI grand finals day 3, a match point will be introduced. This match point will be 10 more than the points of the table toppers till match 12 of the grand finals. The first team that gets the WWCD after going past the 'Match Point' will be crowned the winners of the CEGC 2025 BGMI tournament.
