BGMI 4.3 Update Brings Chennai Super Kings Collaboration with Thala-Themed Rewards

KRAFTON India is continuing its effort to blend cricket and gaming together, and now it has announced a new partnership with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) as part of the BGMI 4.3 update. This comes just after the earlier reveal of a collaboration with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), showing a clear direction towards IPL-themed content with the 2026 season getting closer.

While the KKR-related content is expected to arrive from March 25, the CSK collaboration is set to go live earlier on March 21. Because of this staggered rollout, players will be seeing different team-based experiences being added into the game around the same period, which in some way keeps the engagement going.

CSK-Themed Skins and Collectables Arrive in BGMI

The BGMI 4.3 Update, which is scheduled to launch on March 19, 2026, will introduce new CSK-themed items and special game elements that players can access.

• The Thala Legacy Set - Provides players with a premium themed outfit which features the authentic yellow colours of the legendary CSK identity.
• Thala Monster Truck - Provides players with a customised Monster Truck vehicle skin that delivers an impressive entrance experience on Erangel and Livik maps.
• Photo Booth POIs will introduce new Points of Interest (POIs), which enable players to capture in-game photos together with virtual avatars of CSK players.

BGMI X Chennai Super Kings Release Date

The main BGMI 4.3 Update will launch on March 19, while themed content will be released in stages to create maximum excitement among players.

• March 21: With the BGMI x CSK collaboration making its debut, fans can now find the Thala-themed cosmetics as well as the Photo Booth features.
• March 25: The KKR collaboration content is set to be officially launched, providing players with multiple team-focused experiences to select from.
