The Brawl Stars balance changes July 2026 leaked data points to the fact that some of the most popular characters that dominated the Brawl Stars meta tier list are getting heavily nerfed, like Crow. It's good that the developers listened to community feedback and decided not to increase its attack spread, which would've been much worse.

Instead, they have made his poison less effective while increasing his base attack damage. Overall, it seems that they are nerfing Buffies and Gadgets more than actual Brawler characteristics. Even the new character Bolt is getting some major nerfs.

When it comes to buffs, Starr Nova is getting significant buffs. While she's not a top pick in higher-ranked matches, she dominates lower-ranked games, which should be more apparent now with the best Brawl Stars Starr Nova build.

Piper is getting buffed, which should make her an equal of Mandy regarding long-range control. Surges' movement speed increase should make him more mobile. Spike's main attack now deals more damage, which should make him a menace in most lobbies. Overall, the developers have made some crucial buffs to characters that have been out of the meta for quite some time.

That's all we have to say about how the balance changes Brawl Stars may change the meta. If you want to learn how to score goals more easily, check out our Brawl Stars Super Brawl guide.
