Supercell Introduces New Brawl Stars Buffies With the Royal Academy Season This September

With the two-season-long Ramen Rebellion coming to an end, it's time for the new season to start in Brawl Stars. The new Brawl Stars Royal Academy season introduces a new Brawler, Cosmo, a new Duolingo collaboration event, and new Buffies for six different Brawlers entering its ever-growing catalog. Let's take a look at all the new Buffies, coming as part of the Brawl Stars Buffies September 2026 Update that you can purchase and play with.

List of All Brawl Stars New Buffies Releasing in September 2026

The recent Brawl Stars Brawl Talk August 2026 revealed 18 new Buffies (excluding Bling Buffies) coming in this month. A total of six Brawlers will be getting three Buffies each for each of their Star Powers, Gadgets, and Hypercharges. Below is a list of all Buffies each of these six Brawlers will be getting and their respective abilities.

Poco's Bandstand Trio Buffies

Here is a list of all Poco's Bandstand Trio Buffies and what they do:

Poco

Poco will be getting three new Buffies. They will buff his abilities, such as:

• Tuning Fork Gadget: Healing enemies with this Gadget also briefly increases their reload speed.
• Protective Tunes Gadget: Increases Gadget ability range and duration.
• De Capo! Star Power: Super attack increases the super charge rate of allies for 3 seconds if they are at full health.
• Screeching Solo Star Power: Super attack silences enemies for a brief duration.
• Medic's Melody Hypercharge: Super attacks have an increased range of 180 degrees.

El Primo

Here's how El Primo's Buffies will buff him up in Brawl Stars:

• Suplex Supplement Gadget: El Primo now dashes to the enemy before dealing damage with Suplex.
• Asteroid Belt Gadget: Creates a shield that blocks all projectiles for two seconds. Each bullet blocked charges Super.
• El Fuego Star Power: The burn effect on enemies lasts longer if you continue attacking them immediately.
• Meteor Rush Star Power: Super attack now also grants an additional shield.
• Gravity Leap Hypercharge: Increases basic attack range and also burns enemies.

Amber

Amber will have her kit overhauled this season, mainly one of her Star Powers and her Gadgets. Her Fire Starters Gadget now produces a barrel of oil that can be hit with an attack to explode and leak oil all around. This is what all three of her Buffies will do:

• Fire Starters Gadget: Summon two oil barrels instead of one.
• Dancing Flames Gadget: Increase movement speed.
• Wild Flames Star Power: Gain movement speed near fire or oil.
• Scorchin' Siphon Star Power: Extends burn duration on enemies by a second.
• Oil Spill Hypercharge: Main attack now also burns enemies.

Ghost Station Trio Buffies

The Ghost Station Trio of Gus, Chuck, and Shade will be getting Buffies. Below is a list of what they will do:

Gus

Regarding changes, his Soul Switcher Gadget now lets him throw a spirit ahead that hits and knocks back enemies. Here is a list of all Gus Buffies in Brawl Stars:

• Kooky Popper Gadget: Enemies who are hit by exploding spirits also lose all their ammo briefly.
• Soul Switcher Gadget: Spawn a spirit for every enemy hit with the gadget.
• Health Bonanza Star Power: Spirits slowly move towards the nearest allies.
• Spirit Animal Star Power: Allies hit with Super attack also increase their movement speed.
• Spooky Pop Hypercharge: Basic attack projectiles are bigger and can go through walls.

Chuck

Chuck is getting a slight rework at the start of the season, apart from the new Brawl Stars Balance Changes September 2026. He now gets four Super charges from the start of the match, with every pole placed reducing one charge, along with one being used to move through them. Regarding his Gadgets and Star Powers, Pit Stop's effect has been completely changed. Here's how his Buffies will affect his abilities:

• Rerouting Gadget: Removes the nearest pole and gets a full charge of Super along with a shield.
• Ghost Train Gadget: When Chuck moves using the poles, he now leaves a trail of fire behind.
• Pit Stop Gadget: Deals area damage when a pole is placed that stays for a few seconds.
• Tickets Please Gadget: Move faster using poles when you use Super.
• Full Steam Ahead Hypercharge: Chuck now deals area damage when dashing through poles. His basic attack range also becomes wider.

Shade

Here is a list of how Shade's Buffies will affect her abilities:

• Longarms Gadget: Pulls all enemies hit by the next attack towards the center of his attack (critical attack).
• Jump Scare Gadget: Shade jumps in the target direction before scaring enemies to slow them down. He also gains a shield.
• Spooky Speedster Star Power: Reduce gadget cooldown when hitting enemies with a critical attack.
• Hardened Hoodie Star Power: Increase duration of super.
• The Frightener Hypercharge: Heal yourself when inside walls while not getting critical hits. Increase critical damage area and damage when outside walls.

Brawl Stars New Buffie Ghost Skins

New Buffie skins for certain Brawlers will also be released with the new season in September 2026. These skins will only affect the look of Buffies and provide no gameplay benefits. The Ghost Buffies skins will be the first to be released, giving Buffies a ghastly green appearance.

These Ghost Buffie skins will be released for these two Brawler trios:

• Gift Shop Trio (Colette, Edgar, Griff)
• Mortuary Trio (Mortis, Frank, Emz)
