The upcoming Call of Duty League season is officially underway! The first weekend will provide players with their first taste of what they can expect from the rest of the new season.

All twelve teams have returned to compete in Black Ops 7, from December 5th through December 7th, as they begin their journey toward qualifying for Major 1. Therefore, the league is entering 2026 with an incredible amount of energy.

The season begins with nine best-of-five series across three days. The team will receive ten points in CDL for every victory. These points will count towards a team’s seeding in the CDL's first major event in Dallas.

The first weekend of competition features several rivalries, new teams, and an early opportunity for identifying the true contenders.

Day 1 – Friday, December 5

The opening day wastes no time. On Day 1, the Riyadh Falcons will face OpTic Texas, the reigning champions, followed by the Carolina Royal Ravens playing the Boston Breach. To close out the night, the Los Angeles Thieves will face FaZe Vegas.

Day 2 – Saturday, December 6

Day 3 – Sunday, December 7

The opening game will see the Falcons try to defeat the Thieves once again; the Gentle Mates will try to show they can compete with FaZe, and OpTic will attempt to take down Minnesota in the final game of the weekend.
