As Call of Duty: Mobile heads towards the finish line of 2025, Activision has already announced the most significant content drop ever. Six years after the global release in 2019, Season 11 offers a new extraction mode, a crossover with Street Fighter 6, improved graphics, additional weapons, and anniversary benefits.

COD Mobile 6th Anniversary Update Release Date & DMZ: Recon Mode

The COD Mobile 6th Anniversary Update is set to be released on December 11, 2025, at 12:00 AM PT. Some areas may have the update available on December 12 due to time differences or the distribution timings; however, the mid-December time frame will be the global release.

Season 11 highlights DMZ: Recon, the first PvPvE extraction mode in the game and the third gameplay option, along with Multiplayer and Battle Royale.

COD Mobile Street Fighter 6 Collaboration

For the 6th anniversary celebration, COD Mobile is collaborating with Street Fighter 6 for an event that combines the two games.

Modes Available for a Limited Time

Shoryu and Hadoken (Multiplayer)
A mode similar to a brawler, where:

• Gamers appear to be wearing Prizefighter gloves
• Scorestreaks remain turned off
• A rage meter allows players to become Ryu or Akuma; the following powers are granted: Hadoken. ShoryukenShinku. Hadoken. Shun Goku Satsu
• Street Royale (Battle Royale): Copies of Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, and Akuma appear all over Isolated in hologram form. If players interact with the holograms, they will receive the abilities of Spinning Bird Kick, Spiral Arrow, and Hadoken for the duration of the match.
• Other collab items include Street Fighter operator skins. Weapon blueprints. Charms, emotes, and themed cosmetics in the Series Armory.

New Weapons, Scorestreaks & Visual Updates

Season 11 adds:

• SO-14 Marksman Rifle
• Wheelson-HS Scorestreak (remote-controlled drone)

Both appear in the Battle Pass. The update also brings refined first-person weapon animations for more consistent visuals across several guns.
