COD Mobile DMZ Recon Mode Update: What’s New in Season 11

As we came closer to the horizon of Season 10, multiple leaks about Season 11 have been a hot topic on the internet for the community. And a few leaked data on COD Mobile DMZ Recon mode have just raised the bar of expectation. The much-awaited COD Mobile DMZ mode is scheduled to arrive in-game on 11th December, at 12 AM PT.

COD Mobile DMZ Recon mode: Everything We Know So Far

The COD Mobile DMZ Recon mode is scheduled to arrive in-game on December 11 at 12 AM PT, according to a recently released trailer on the official YouTube channel. It goes without saying that even if the developers have been quite tight-lipped about the incoming PvPvE mode, trusted data miners on the internet have spilt some beans about it.

Coming to its basics, the rules for DMZ Recon mode will be simple. Similar to any other extraction shooter, players need to get inside a map and find valuable loot while fighting both environmental and real enemies. And at the end, they must extract safely from certain points with all the loot before the timer runs out. And similar to PC mode, a helicopter will be available once the players call for an extraction.

COD Mobile DMZ Recon Mode Difficulty

The COD Mobile DMZ Recon mode is expected to feature two difficulty modes: Normal and Hard Mode. Normal Mode is where players are only allowed to use low-tier items, and they'll lose only the items from their backpack if they die inside the map.

The Hard Mode is when players are allowed to use high-tier items. However, if they can't extract properly and die inside the map, they'll lose everything except their weapons. Additionally, it is worth noting that the Call of Duty DMZ Recon Mode is expected to be available only in FPP mode.

COD Mobile DMZ Recon Mode Talents Overview

According to several trusted sources, such as @codmINTEL and @LeakersOnDuty, there are likely to be three talents at the beginning of the COD Mobile DMZ Recon mode release. The abilities will be similar to the perk system in the CODM multiplayer mode. Here's a brief of all three talents:

• Scavengers: Scavengers will have increased movement speed and a noise reduction ability, allowing them to sneak behind enemy lines.
• Medical: Medical talent will help players with faster healing, reviving, increased HP when downed, and a bit of passive healing perks.
• Assaulter: Assaulter will be the main damage dealer of the team. Starting from faster weapon switching to faster reloads, along with reduced recoil, are expected to be the perks for this talent.

Judging from the talents, two Assaulters, one Scavenger, and one Medical would be a great combo in a four-man DMZ team.

COD Mobile DMZ Recon Mode Map

While there's no official information regarding the COD Mobile DMZ Recon Map, leakers have suggested that Serpent Island is expected to be the primary map in the DMZ mode. Parts of the map are expected to be a redesigned version of the Ashika Island, the famous map from Call of Duty Warzone 2.0. All major locations, such as Tsuki Castloe, Residential, Shipwreck, Farms, Town Centre, Port, Beach Club, are expected to have a new layout and names, modified to fit mobile gameplay.

Meanwhile, a redesigned Al Mazrah City, a Point of Interest from Al Mazrah (Warzone 2.0), is expected to be another POI. The developers might add Building 21, a much smaller but challenging map, in the mode after its global release.
