Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is releasing this October, and Activision is preparing gamers for a long beta along with Call of Duty NEXT. The game's Vault Edition also includes early beta access and additional in-game bonus items. The CoD MW 4 Early Access Beta comes as the first opportunity for players to try out the new game.

CoD Modern Warfare 4 Vault Edition Offers Rewards and Early Access to the Beta

Gamers who have the previous Call of Duty game will qualify for a 10% loyalty discount on the purchase of the Vault Edition. The package comprises the game itself, early access to the campaign from October 16th, Hunter Killer Operator Skin, Gilded Pearl Camo Pack, one Season of BlackCell, Hostile Alliance and Special Forces Operator Packs, Signature Weapon Collection, and DMZ Deployment Bonus.

The Call of Duty NEXT event will be held on August 21, highlighting the core 6v6 multiplayer, Kill Block mode, Warzone intelligence, the first preview of Zodiac, launch maps, game modes, and more. As for the COD MW4 beta release date, it's expected to start on 21st August, exclusively for players who order the Vault Edition.

CoD MW 4 Early Access Beta is scheduled from the 21st to the 25th of August, providing five brand-new maps for 6v6, Kill Block game mode, and the Entrenched campaign mission. Some of the maps available are Rooftops, Silkworm, Transit 213, Cachette, Lotus, and Kill Block.

The Open Beta period is from 28th August to 1st September and includes expansion of the content with Lithium substituting Lotus, Ground War in Combat Outpost, and Zodiac Warzone Resurgence map. New gameplay will be added via Hijack and Combat Outpost.

Players who pre-order or pre-purchase Modern Warfare 4 on these platforms can access the beta starting August 21. The Early Access will include consoles such as Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Xbox on PC, Steam, and Battle.net.
The Open Beta will also be available on Nintendo Switch 2, which is an interesting addition to the series. Multiple maps for multiplayer, new game modes, Warzone maps, and campaign will all be available during the beta stage. Additionally, subscribing to Discord Nitro gives COD MW4 early access as well.
