Supercell Reduces Ore Gem Costs in Clash of Clans, Making Hero Equipment Upgrades Easier

After working on adjusting ore prices, Supercell has finally announced the news the Clash Community had been waiting for. Yes, a major Clash of Clans ore cost reduction has been announced, with the news taking the community by storm!

Collecting ore to upgrade hero equipment has been one of the most costly endeavours recently. And players have been vocal about how unjustified the exchange rates are. Supercell, however, has taken the time to address the issue; they have finally answered the community's pleas with today's CoC Ore cost reduction announcement.

Clash of Clans Ore Cost Reduction Brings Permanent Gem Price Cuts

October is turning out to be pretty sweet for the CoC fans. After a bunch of new Halloween-themed Clash of Clans Clash-O-Ween skins were announced, the developers came back with a new CoC Ore Pricing, thereby enabling players with more Gems to buy additional Ores, Books, or even Hero Skins!

@ClashofClans recently took to their official X account to share the article with the community. As per the announcement, Supercell is lowering the gem prices for ore permanently. The change to the new Clash of Clans Ore Prices will be in effect later this month, especially during the Portal Panic Medal event, held as the main event as part of this season's Clash of Clans Clash-O-Ween events.

Full List of CoC Ore Pricing Changes

Supercell has decided to slowly roll out the CoC ore pricing changes instead of dropping them suddenly. As per their announcement, here are the gem price changes made for Shiny, Glowy, and Starry ores:

Before this announcement, Clash of Clans players around the globe had been complaining about the different ore prices for players in the trader shop due to the then-ongoing Clash of Clans A/B Testing. The new updated pricing, however, cuts the gem cost to max out epic equipment by half. With the next full update, the new gem prices will become the standard prices everywhere else in the game.

And with this, Supercell is expected to introduce more Ores in the Premium Event Passes for players to buy! The developers also confirmed to users that the new Clash of Clans Ore Cost Reduction is just the beginning, with more adjustments to the Ore Economy planned later this month.
