Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event Guide: Everything You Need to Know

The Supercell has announced an upcoming limited progress event for Clash of Clans. This new development for the game signals an end to all those cosmetic events that mark different seasons within Clash of Clans.

Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event Guide

The Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event will start on January 9, 2026, at 08:00 AM UTC and run until January 23, 2026. While the key event period elapses on that date, Supercell allowed a small extension whereby players could still interact with event-related systems. This additional window will stay open up to January 25, 2026.

Event Access and Base Placement

Once live, the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event Guide introduces a new structure within the player's village, much like other medal-based events were managed. It is assumed that access will unlock with Town Hall 7 in order to open participation to mid-level players without late-game upgrades.

Progression Through Combat Objectives

In the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event Guide, advancement is measured based on a special type of event currency named ‘Dynamites.’ Obtaining Dynamites is possible by knocking out enemy Town Halls in multiplayer combat. In turn, for every successful knockdown, the player gets rewarded with 20 Dynamites.

Bonus Rewards and Relic Medal System

After players collect 3,900 Dynamites, the bonus track opens up. This gives players another way to advance and rewards players with extra goodies like 210 Relic Medals in Clash of Clans for going beyond what’s required in the main track.

Relic Medals are a form of currency being used as the primary source for spending during the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event. Free players can gain a total of 3,610 Relic Medals for free without purchasing the Event Pass.

Players looking to maximize their Relic Medal spending can also plan purchases alongside the Clash of Clans Traders Special January 2026 Week 1, which complements the event by offering additional upgrade-focused items through the Trader rotation.

Trader Shop Lineup and Equipment Pool

In the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event Guide, there is a Trader Shop that carries a rotation of Hero Equipment that used to be limited or harder to obtain. Items in the pool include such things as Electro Boots, Frozen Arrow, Fireball, Rocket Spear, and Giant Gauntlet.

This rotation also aligns closely with expectations set ahead of the Clash of Clans Next Update: Release Time, Date & All Details, where long-term Hero progression has been positioned as a core focus.

Event Pass Expansion and Premium Incentives

This is in addition to the extra 5,500 Relic Medals, as well as some more Starry Ore and Glowing Ore. This makes the cumulative prizes to a player reach a maximum of 9,110 Relic Medals. Also, premium players get to enjoy unique graphic features, which include the Grand Sorcerer Hero Skin.

Post-Event Exchange Period

Once the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event has officially concluded on January 23, a two-day exchange period will be given to the players.

When compared to the earlier seasonal events, there is a noticeable shift in this update. In most of the previous seasonal events, the activities would include items such as decorations, limited game skins, or temporary boosts. This is not the same for the Clash of Clans Equipment Blast Event. In previous medal matches, new weaponry was introduced, but it became tougher to get back to the old items.
