Clash of Clans Gold Pass Changes Feel Bigger Than Expected

Supercell has finally listened to community feedback and introduced new Gold Pass Changes in Clash of Clans. The new update is seemingly more rewarding, interesting, and balanced for all players. The Clash of Clans Gold Pass changes take effect in the upcoming season. Here is everything you should know about them.

What's New With the Clash of Clans Gold Pass Changes?

The Gold Pass changes in Clash of Clans include several new features, a better progression system and a reworked rewards track. All these updates have been introduced without any price change, making it a great deal for all the players.

One of the biggest CoC Gold Pass Changes is the interface itself. The newer interface has a full-screen Gold Pass layout, bigger icons and clearer visibility. This is accompanied by an improved progression track, which makes it easier for new players to understand the new pass system. Here are the details related to the new reward system:

• The old challenging reward system has been replaced with an easier-to-understand system.
• There will be 8 tasks that are always available and won't expire. This would make it easier for players to complete the Gold Pass challenge.
• Completing tasks gives stamps, crucial for completing the stamp card. These stamp cards are necessary to earn the season bonus.
• Players start with multiple stamp cards initially and have an opportunity to earn a new one every day.
• Bonus points are awarded for completing stamp cards

Choice Nodes: Pick Your Own Rewards

Another major CoC Gold Pass Change is the choice nodes. Players have the choice to choose among multiple rewards. These allow players to choose a reward according to their upgrade plans. The following are examples of choice nodes:

• Choosing between two hero skins
• A Rune of Elixir vs a Rune of Gold
• Choice amongst books and magic items

Clash of Clans Gold Pass changes also include an improved Hoggy Bank. The season bank now starts with its maximum capacity, and a pass directly gives a 5x multiplier when claimed at the end of the season. Discounts have also been introduced earlier in the season. A 10% discount now unlocks at 10 and 20 points, while 15% and 20% discount unlocks at Day 4 and Day 8, respectively. Prospector also unlocks at 2200 points, unlike previous seasons, where it used to unlock at 2400 points.
