Supercell releases an Optional Update for Clash of Clans Fixing a Number of Bugs and Glitches

Supercell has finally addressed the numerous existing bugs and issues in Clash of Clans and has rolled out an optional update. The update, although being an optional one, fixes multiple glitches and issues across both the Home and Builder Bases.

The developers recently announced this across their social media platforms, with the new Clash of Clans Optional Update v18.350.8 now live across both App stores. Let's check out everything that the new CoC Update brings to the game.

Clash of Clans May Update Aims to Fix Multiple Bugs and Glitches

Several issues and bugs were noticed once the new Clash of Clans May 2026 Season started. While most of them were simple glitches, a few were noticeable bugs that actually affected player experience. Thankfully, this update fixes most of them:

While the Clash of Clans Replay Glitch was already addressed earlier by the developers, some of the above-listed fixes are recent and targeted to improve user experience considerably. Let's take a detailed look at them below.

• Getting the new Hero Skins after activating the Clash of Clans Gold Pass May 2026 was not working properly
• Esports mode was being displayed while selecting the War Participants during the ongoing CWL
• Loot Attacks made players log out from their bases, showcasing “Client & Servers Out of Sync” during the Golden Dragons event
• Hero skins were showing Black and White in both the Army Screen and Hero Hall
• The current Dragon Duke App Icon had an issue for some players
• Attack Replays didn't reflect Magic Snacks and Potions, making differences from the original attacks, and showcasing entirely incorrect results
• Users from the Legend 1 league were displaying "All-Time Best" at their player profiles

• Players in the Legend League were unable to spectate their Defence Attacks from the defence log
• Filled Defenses were not being counted in the final League results screen, leading to incorrect totals
• Certain Hero skins were important Missing Particle effects
• Opening the Top Players Leaderboard led to multiple App crashes
• The victory screen was showing the “Return Home” message instead of “Claim Reward” after winning Treasure Hunt chests from Revenge attacks
• Builder Base layout screen displayed incorrectly for the Ranked Defense attacks
• The Cannon Cart in Builder Base was missing the “No Target” indicator in the deployment bar
