Here's How to Complete the Clash of Clans Showstopper Challenge: Step-by-Step Guide

Supercell has finally released the first challenge of the new Sound of Clash Season in Clash of Clans. The CoC Showstopper Challenge is now live and will be running for the next eight days for players to complete to earn free in-game resources.

Clash of Clans Showstopper Challenge Overview

Like most CoC challenges, the Showstopper Challenge, although it seems difficult at first, can be completed with ease once you are through with the strategy. The challenge showcases the Dragon Duke's latest Epic Equipment, the Rocket Backpack, which will be available as an event reward in the upcoming Medal event.

On completing the challenge, you will receive 400 XP, 25 Gems, and 1x Hero Potion as the Clash of Clans Showstopper Challenge rewards. How to Complete Showstopper Challenge in Clash of Clans?

The base, at first glance, looks overwhelming. The main strategy behind taking it down is utilising your spells efficiently so that the new CoC Hero Dragon Duke can fly through the base using the new Rocket Backpack Equipment. Start your attack by placing one Baby Dragon on the Eagle Artillery at the top left corner of your base. Take down the Eagle Artillery at the first instance, else it can create issues later.

Next, get ready with your Earthquake and Lightning spells. Place one Earthquake spell just below the Multi-Target Inferno Tower and 3x Lightning Spells in between the Multi-Air Defense and Revenge Tower on each side of your base. Then release your Dragon Duke with Angry Jelly on the Super Wizard Tower and take it out.

Next, move the Duke towards the Mortar and press his ability. The Dragon Duke will fly through the base and place two Bat spells on the Revenge Towers. Following that, place the Barbarian King onto the gold mine. Then spam your Ice Golem, your Ice Hound, and 3x Dragons, Electro Dragon, Dragon Riders, Druid, Stone Slammer, Grand Warden, and the Minion Prince.

As the troops start moving, the Ice Golem and Hound will freeze the defense. Drop your Poison spell instantly to negate the Clan Castle troops and press your Grand Warden ability. Snipe off the Air Defense at the very top of the base using a Super Minion. Next, use your Baby Dragons on the non-defensive buildings on the left side of the base, which the Dragon Duke missed taking down.

Keep an eye on the single-target Infernos above, and once they engage with your troops, drop the Totem spell in the middle to distract them. Finally, spread your remaining Baby Dragons at the top of the base to take out the remaining buildings, hit your King ability, and utilise your final Super Minion to take out the remaining Air Defense on the left, once the Builder Hut is destroyed.

The Revive Spell can act as a backup for your troops, and you can utilise either the Minion Prince or Dragon Duke to ensure your three stars.
