CoD Mobile Could Soon Add One of Warzone’s Most Iconic Locations

Recent Call of Duty: Mobile leaks have started major speculation around a possible return of Verdansk. Dataminers have discovered multiple map-related assets hidden in recent updates on the upcoming CoD Mobile update.

The leaks suggest the fan-favourite Verdansk to return in the popular franchise, but this time in CODM, following the shutdown of Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile.

Verdansk's Arrival Could Change Regular COD Mobile Matches

Verdansk boasted some of the most interesting locations in Warzone Mobile, including Superstore, Downtown, and Prison as battle zones that combined short-range combat with rooftop sniper confrontations. The current CoD Mobile Verdansk Map Leaks suggest that the map could be used across Battle Royale and DMZ: Recon modes.

The areas between Airport, Storage Town, and Boneyard will develop into busy drop zones resembling the high traffic patterns of Blackout's Construction Site. The Stadium's vertical design will enable combatants to fight across multiple floors through the use of zip lines, smoke grenades, and their selected custom loadouts.

The Prison in CODM Verdansk Map provides late-game circles, which create confined combat spaces requiring players to use shotguns and submachine guns. The Quarry and Dam map design advantages snipers because they can use higher ground to perform long-distance attacks. Final Battles in CODM Verdansk Map Could Challenge Mobile Performance

The size of Verdansk is considerably bigger than the standalone Krai map of CoD Mobile. The combination of the Downtown and Train Station areas creates a situation where low-end devices experience increased rendering challenges.

Final battle scenes containing numerous operators, vehicles, and airstrikes become a difficulty for low-end gaming devices. Blackout had considerably increased the Battle Royale Map size of COD Mobile, while Alcatraz provided a faster respawn combat experience.

Verdansk, on the other hand, could potentially offer two gameplay styles through its urban combat areas and open-field movement, along with Warzone Mobile's gameplay speed to create an extended tactical experience that surpassed Krai.
