How to Reach Code Vein 2 Cultist Altar Location?

Code Vein 2 is one of the most anticipated PS5 games releasing in January. That said, here's how to reach the Code Vein 2 Cultist Altar location:

Step 1

• You can find the Code Vein 2 Cultist Altar to the northeast of the Cliffside Ruins in the Sunken City.
• Use your map to help you get a rough idea of where to go.
• Start by fast-travelling to the Cliffside Ruins checkpoint.
• From there, head into the nearby hotel building.
• Inside, follow the path and use the broken part of the ceiling to climb up to the upper floor.

Step 2

• Once you’re upstairs, keep moving north until you exit the hotel into an open area.
• Continue heading north, and you will eventually come across a cave entrance.
• Enter the cave and go through the double doors to reach a boss arena.
• Once Biosis Cod is defeated, you will get the second Tome in Code Vein 2.

What to Do at the Cultist Altar in Code Vein 2?

• The Cultist Altar is northeast of Josee’s Outpost. When you reach it for the first time, activate the nearby Mistle.
• To unlock what’s inside, you first need to complete Josee’s questline.
• After finishing her quest and returning to the present, head back to MagMell.
• A cutscene will play as you form a new bond, sending you back in time to 2187.
• There, you will meet Valentin, who joins you as a partner and gives you a new request.
• Follow the location marked on your map, which is southeast of MagMell Island.
• Enter Shoreline Cavern, where you will pass through a temporal rift and fight a powerful boss. The request is completed once you defeat the said boss.
• Return to MagMell and talk to Valentin, and he will explain that there are more temporal rifts that need to be sealed.

• One of those rifts is located at the Code Vein 2 Cultist Altar. Go back to the Mistle outside the altar and enter the area.
• Inside, you will find the temporal rift and a fog gate. Passing through it will start a boss fight against Biosis Clod.
• This boss has a large health pool and can grab you if you’re not careful.
• Try to focus your attacks on the golden tentacles on its back, as this deals extra damage and can stagger it.
• Some of its attacks are also easy to parry, so use that to create more openings.
• After defeating Biosis Clod, you will receive the Book of Lost Tome and Scorched Earth (Formae).
• Take the tome back to Valentin to learn more about it.
• From there, you can visit the remaining marked locations to finish Valentin’s questline.
