CODM World Championship 2025: Teams, Schedule, Format, and Where to Watch

The Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025 is making its way to Katowice, Poland, presenting a very important shift in how Activision is handling the global scene this year. This year, unlike previous Championships, it will not be open to the public and will be all about the action and competition.

No doubt, this is the premier event that every CODM fan has been waiting for. This event will be conducted with Activision's partnership with ESL Faceit Group.

The CODM World Championship 2025 will provide a massive prize pool of $850,000, and will feature 16 of the best teams picked from different regions.

Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025 Format

The event is offline and will feature the OnePlus 15 as the official device. The format this year balances both consistency and competitiveness.

Group Stage (November 7, 2025)

The 16 teams will be placed into four GSL-style groups, consisting of four teams each. All matches will be in a best-of-five (Bo5) format, putting teams in a position to have some space to adapt in their series and prove their strategies.
Only the top two teams from each group will advance to the Playoffs - making every match count. The tournament also ties into the ongoing COD Mobile World Championship 2025 Celebration Event, which has been keeping players engaged in-game ahead of the finals.

Playoffs (November 8-9, 2025)

The remaining eight teams will play in a double-elimination bracket, also in a Bo5 format. However, the Grand Final will be played in a best-of-seven (Bo7) format, with the winner of the upper bracket receiving a one-map advantage to reward consistency while still allowing for teams to find a way back to the top.

GodLike and TLE eSports are returning teams this year, while there are also some rising contenders like Qing Jiu Club and Galorys; every team here has something to prove. The event also follows shortly after the COD Mobile Season 10 Update, which introduced new content, balance changes, and themed rewards that built up the hype for the championship finale.

Weapon Rules & Restrictions

Each player can only use two weapon classes within the ARs, SMGs, Heavy, and Marksman categories. For a total of 10 players all pushing one team, the maximum allowable composition is:

• 3 ARs
• 3 SMGs
• 2 Heavy
• 2 Marksman

This is to create balanced matchups and to allow teams to play around with and develop strategies with their weapon class.

When and Where to Watch

The championship will be hosted from November 7 to 9, 2025. While the championship isn't open to spectators in person, fans can watch the CODM 2025 live stream, game highlights, and player interviews on the official Call of Duty: Mobile YouTube and Twitch channels worldwide.
