Valve's Recent Tease Reveal New Cache Collection CS2; Arriving Next Week

Summary
Valve have dropped another huge hint around CS2 Cache's release date. Only recently, the developers sent the community into a frenzy by changing the official CS2 banner on X (formerly Twitter). Hours after the tease, Valve released a video of some of Cache's most iconic moments on the same account. Alongside the highlight reel, the developers teased a brand-new Cache Collection CS2.
CS2 The Cache Collection Announcement
The Counter-Strike 2 Cache Collection is expected to arrive with the new map next week. The recent release date estimates are based on the caption Valve used in their teaser on X. “What are you doing next week?” they wrote.
The shared clip features some of the most recognizable highlights in Counter-Strike's history. It begins with the infamous Shroud boost on the A Bomb site. That clip is followed by a huge 1v4 from Team Liquid's Hiko against Luminosity Gaming, a highlight that pulled S1mple out of his chair. One of the old masters of the AWP, JDM, could be seen pulling off an insane ACE in mid. The clip ends with one of the most iconic Graffiti Plays in Counter-Strike, where S1mple jumps onto the B Site and catches two Fnatic players with back-to-back AWP no-scopes to win the round.
As the video faded to black, a new logo for the Cache Collection CS2 popped up on the screen.
Counter-Strike 2 Update April 25

Counter-Strike 2 developers have seemingly been putting in extra hours at work recently as the game released another update to fix certain issues. Most of these changes were around the latest AnimGraph2 CS2 system.
- The XM1014 shell flickering when reloading has been fixed.
- The Dualies in first-person and in spectator mode were fixed.
- Inspect/cancel causing multiple worldmodel deploys has been fixed.
- Foot IK transitions were made smoother.
- Players getting stuck in a planted-turn state was resolved.
- High-frequency stutter steps that caused large pose changes were fixed.
- Another case where legs would snap when stopping abruptly was resolved.
- Third-person bombplant animation was adjusted to match the first-person animation closely.
- Additional adjustments to the viewmodel animations were made.
Aside from these changes, the new CS2 update also fixed random start-up crashes, adjusted official map guides, and dropped weapons' silencers.
As we all wait for Cache, consider checking out how Valve silently revealed the removal of 4 armory items.
