This IEM Cologne Major 2026 Highlight Brings Counter-Strike 2's First-Ever Graffiti

Summary
Valve has introduced something interesting in its latest Counter-Strike 2 patch update on July 1, 2026. It seems that the developers have added one of CS2's major easter eggs to the game. The recently added CS2 Magixx graffiti has been the talk of the town. While Valve hasn't mentioned anything, chances are it's to commemorate Magixx's 1v4 clutch against G2 Esports at the IEM Cologne 2026.
The graffiti, however, is not the usual type of easter egg we've seen in CSGO. It's just a map decoration change from where Team Spirit's IGL did the incredible clutch. The shelves at Mirage's Market feature “Magic Secret Sauce" with an image of a tomato, along with a 4X written on it. Let's take a look at what we know about Magixx graffiti CS2.
Counter-Strike 2 Added New Easter Egg, And It's Not the Usual Type
At the IEM Cologne Major 2026, it was the 2nd Overtime of QF. Spirit almost lost the round with four of their stars dying early. The bomb was planted in the B site, and it was Magixx against four G2 Esports players. What appeared impossible happened and shocked the community. The 1v4 clutch from Magixx gave Spirit a two-round lead.
Whether it's Coldzera's 4k or S1mple's falling AWP, Valve always honoured its legendary moments with graffiti in CSGO. And this CS2 Magixx graffiti is somewhat similar. The only difference is that it's not like a standard graffiti, but a small change in the decoration.
A total of four cans were added in the shelves area, right where Magixx held the cheeky angle during the clutch. The introduction of both four cans and 4X text on the cans revealed what Valve was referring to. Do remember that the cans are destructible so that everyone can hold the cheeky angle.

Community Reaction to CS2 July Update

Apart from the Cologne Major autograph stickers, the CS2 July Update brought an interesting twist. And Magixx CS2 graffiti play has now taken all the limelight. The Counter-Strike 2 community was seemingly happy to receive this easter egg and reacted on social media.
The funny thing happened when Team Spirit's official X account asked @CounterStrike why they haven't mentioned anything in the update. CS2's official X account replied that they wanted it to be a surprise.
The Cologne Major semifinalist Aurora Gaming posted another custom screenshot with Turkey's flag on the B-Site's box at Dust 2. The org asked @CounterStrike when the devs will add it.
Another user, @Blanonski, asked the authors of the X post if there's a hidden message to it.
