In a shocking turn of events, Senzu CS2 returns as The MongolZ substitute ahead of the Starladder Budapest Major 2025 event. It means we might see the 19-year-old star rifler in action once again, featuring our favourite Asian roster. For context, earlier in October 2025, The MongolZ benched the star rifler in an unexpected move, without any specific reason.

Later, the Mongolian organisation added 28-year-old Controlez as his replacement in the team. However, that surely didn't work out well, as the newly formed roster lost its top-tier reputation after average performances at Counter-Strike 2 IEM Chengdu and BLAST Rivals 2025 Season 2.

Before discussing team synergy, we must note that Senzu's time in the team drastically changed their trajectory of success on the international scene. The Mongolian roster has won the Esports World Cup 2025, the Thunderpick World Championship 2024, the YaLLa Compass 2024, and the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2024.

However, for no specific reason, the organisation decided to bench Senzu and added Controlez as his replacement. Now that Senzu CS2 returns as The MongolZ substitute, the Asian CS2 fans might see a drastic change ahead of the Starladder Budapest Major 2025. However, Controlez will remain as the primary player in the 5-man squad.
