Players must adapt as the game evolves. Sometimes this means pinching routes across wide-open terrain, and sometimes it involves clearing up close quarters in narrow, collapsed hallways with surprising verticality and cover.

The important part is not only the firefight, but also figuring out where your squad is going, when to rotate and where the open and covered spaces are to maximise benefit. There is no doubt that this map is going to be the highlight of Delta Force Season 7.

At its core, Monument is a layered battleground. The outer shell is an open desert: expansive dunes have long sight-lines. This is ideal territory for snipers and vehicles. When game-play shifts inward, you hit buried ruins - ancient monuments, pyramids, and partially fallen buildings.

These ruins create narrow choke points and vertical spaces. Other above-ground ruins and plaza-like spaces become a priority because of their height advantage, and visual perspective over the deserts.

The subterranean or semi-covered passages force players to play cautiously and in close quarters. Contrasting terrain makes Monument feel like a dynamic chessboard - each time you go from dune to ruin, you will shift your approach.
