EA Unveils College Football Mobile 27, Bringing Its Iconic Franchise to Mobile Devices

Earlier this week, while revealing the College Football 27 trailer, EA made a sudden announcement! The developers unveiled a mobile version of the title, termed EA Sports College Football Mobile 27, bringing the fun of rookie college football gameplay to mobile devices.

Ever since its revival in 2025, unlike its sister franchise, Madden NFL, EA's College Football series has always been a console exclusive. With the announcement, the developers are bringing a new title under its mobile wing, transitioning the fan-favourite series to handheld devices.

College Football Mobile 27 Announced: Experience the Passion for the First Time on Mobile

EA has been a household name in the sports gaming industry with its FC (formerly FIFA), NBA Live, F1, UFC, Madden, and College Football franchises. With most of its titles having a growing mobile playerbase as well, College Football joins the bandwagon with its latest iteration.

The developers have already confirmed that the game will be entirely free-to-play and will receive the Ultimate Team treatment similar to EA's Madden Mobile. Additionally, the Dynasty mode is also set to feature in the upcoming EA Sports College Football Mobile.

With these additions, players will finally get to play with their favourite rookie college footballers on the go in authentic Play Now matches. It's going to be real fun for gamers who can't afford the next-generation console to try out the young guns before they turn professionals.

When will College Football Mobile Release Globally?

Even though the console version enters Early Access on July 2nd, the developers have yet to confirm the College Football Mobile Release Date. With the College Football season beginning in late August 2026, the game is expected to be released before then, coinciding with Week One games.

With American College household names Dante Moore, Kewan Lacy, and Malachi Toney coming as the cover stars, players are looking forward to how soon they can start with the College Football Mobile Download process. The game, besides mobile, is coming to Steam for PC as well for the first time!
