FragPunk Season 4 All Changes and Features

As FragPunk Season 4 has been officially announced, this places the gaming experience in a period where they will officially turn a year old starting from 29th January. As opposed to other gaming experiences where developers tend to release more content to coincide with a developer’s milestone anniversary of celebrating a full year of existence in a celebratory drop, this gaming update appears more structured around a chapter.

FragPunk Season 4

New PvE Mode: Pigment Realm

One of the major additions in this chapter is a PvE chapter named ‘Pigment Realm.’ The chapter has a strong focus on atmosphere and environmental design. The environment appears to differ from other parts of the story in that there is a greater reliance on contrast in terms of visuals and unusual colors in terms of layering, in addition to combat zones. Combat scenes with enemies in Pigment Realm have been made less linear in their design.

Wildstyle Arrives With Gameplay Changes on February 5

There is a larger update coming later on Feb 5 that brings new maps and the expanded perk system. One of the key players in this update is a character named Wildstyle, aka Melody Lovelock. From a gameplay perspective, Wildstyle’s gameplay seems focused on control as opposed to dealing damage.

FragPunk New Maps and Shard Clash Adjustments

This will now include the map of Caesarea. This map has narrower roads as well as vertical features where encounters are close. Shard Clash is also being updated and will feature some new shard cards. There are 4 shard cards in FragPunk Season 4.

Anniversary Cake

Launch a cake bomb that slows enemies upon impact. Spawn small cakes at the explosion site that can be interacted with by allies to recover 20% of HP.

Anniversary Badge

Get wearable badges that give an increase in Max HP +10%. The items dropped upon the wearer's death: 4 Anniversary Badges. When an teammate picks them up, they heal for 5% of their Maximum Health.

Lucky Bag

Get a mobile Lucky Bag that drops 1 random item every 8s. The Lucky Bag is destroyed while taking damage.

Anniversary Candy

Throw Candy that explodes when enemies enter its range. Teammates can interact with it to continuously restore HP for a short time.

Event Schedule and Reward Distribution

The anniversary officially begins on 5th February, letting people entry into 19 unique modes as well as some free extreme skins for their weapons. Additional content for cosmetics will be released between February and March for some of the Noble Crimson weapons. Further in-game rewards come on February 19 in the form of Extreme Discipline: Starship Miracle content, as well as subsequent limited-time currency releases. Prize Pools and Seasonal Bundles

A new prize pool has also been introduced, titled 'Cold Steel Eclipses the Sky,' which will be available on January 29th, including the reward 'Downpour.' 'Divine Beast Guards All Realms' and the 'Spring Festival Bundle' have also been scheduled to be released on February 5th.
