5 Important Things You Need to Know About the Free Fire Daybreak Anime

The upcoming Free Fire Daybreak Anime is finally getting closer to its release. Garena first announced the anime project back in 2024, and after showing the first teaser trailer in 2025, the company has now shared more official details about what fans can expect from the series.

Daybreak Anime Free Fire Release Window Officially Confirmed

Garena has officially announced that Free Fire Daybreak Anime will debut in the spring 2027 anime season. While the exact date has not been specified, the anime should typically run from April to June. Garena has also confirmed that a brand-new trailer will be released on August 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM JST, giving fans another look at the upcoming series.

Official Free Fire Daybreak Anime Taglines Have Been Revealed

Along with the latest announcement, Garena also revealed a new key visual for the anime. The artwork comes with two official taglines:

• "New Dimension Ability Awakening Battle Action!"
• "I'm the one who decides my future."

The first tagline suggests a thrilling experience with special abilities. The second one seems more concerned about having control over your own future and believing in yourself.

Another anime collaboration event was added earlier this year when Garena announced the Free Fire x Gintama Collaboration event for Free Fire players.

Meet the Creative Team Behind Free Fire Daybreak Anime

Garena has brought together an experienced production team to work on the anime series.

Director

Ken Takahashi will be directing the anticipated series. Previously, he was assistant director in two other action-centric anime – Ragna Crimson and Fate/kaleid liner PRISMA ILLYA Licht Nameless Girl.

Series Composer and Screenplay Writer

Hotaru Asafuji, who is popular for co-writing Azur Lane: Slow Ahead! Season 2 will be in charge of both series composition and screenwriting. This means that Hotaru will be responsible for structuring the plot of this anime series and writing its scripts.

Music Composer

For the creation of the music score of the anime, Koji Fujimoto from Sus4 Inc. will be hired, whose past work includes Ragna Crimson and whose style matches the series' fast-paced combat scenes.

KADOKAWA QINGYU Takes the Role of Production Manager

Garena has confirmed that KADOKAWA QINGYU will serve as the production manager for the anime. The animation is being handled by Studio CANDY BOX, best known for Blue Archive The Animation.
