The Witch's Homework is a new quest that has been introduced in Luna III version, and it's packed with lore and hidden buffs for some of our favourite older characters from Mondstadt. It's a separate quest from the Archon Quest, and it's located in Mondstadt. After you successfully complete this quest, the Hexenzirkel buff will be activated as a passive talent. It will be available for the characters you are part of the Hexenzirkel, including the newest Pyro character, Durin.

If you are interested in the details of Genshin Impact Witch's Homework Quest, then keep reading. In the later parts, we will break down the passives that will be added to the characters and explain how to unlock them.
Guide to Genshin Impact Witch's Homework and more

Let's dive into the details of this additional quest of Luna III, which will bring back some of our favourite characters in the meta, including Venti, the Anemo Archon from Mondstadt. To initiate the quest, you will be directed back to the city of Freedom, where, once you reach it, you will need to head towards the Adventure guild (where you collect your daily rewards). There, you will be notified by the Snezhnaya robot, Katheryne, that there is an immediate quest request, but no one is accepting.

And as a Tevyat renowned Adventurer, you can't just say “NO”, so after accepting, you went to the Mondstadt library where you met a known face after ages. Lisa then said that the quest is arranging all these books, which were suddenly donated by an unknown person, and among these books, some are quite exclusive, which can't fall into the hands of the wrong people. While sorting all the books, you managed to find a book, “The Little Witch's Dictionary”, which seemed to be quite out of place, and on opening it, you will enter a domain, where you will meet Klee's mother, Mage Alice, in her Dodoco form. She will later disclose the reason for bringing this book to Tevyat, and why she donated that many books(Yes, she is the reason we had to rearrange all those books).
After completing the initial part of the Genshin Impact Witch's Homework Quest, you will be allowed to do 8 separate miniature quests, which will be related to 8 specific characters. Those characters are :
- Venti
- Albedo
- Klee
- Mona
- Durin
- Fischl
- Razor
- Sucrose
They are all members of the Hexenzirkel and will unlock exclusive passive abilities. Let's break down those details in the following part.
But to unlock the passives of these Genshin Impact characters, you need to follow two important steps, and those are:
- You need to own the characters.
- Must be at least Lvl 80.

- This finished the quest, and now Venti's new passive skill is unlocked, which you can check on his Talent window.
Albedo's Quest (Of Questions Beyond Questions)

Just like before, follow the mentioned steps:
- Go to Mona's house to trigger the quest.
- There, Mona will read her former master's letter, which will instruct Mona to go to a specific place, and that place is in the current timeline of the game, in Sumeru.
- After reaching in front of the big Gate of Kharcha, Mona will do as her master mentioned, but this will result in spawning Abyssal Monsters, which we need to defeat. And the quest came to an end, and her passive is active,
- In short, Mona got rage-baited by her master.
Durin's Quest (Of This World)

Just follow the steps below:
- Go to the Knights of Favonious headquarters. Once you enter, the quest will trigger.

Fischl's Quest (Alan Smithee, The Author of Fischl)

Follow these steps:
- After triggering the quest, you will meet her right in front of the Adventurer's Guild while searching for a specific editor. To have further discussion, you will move towards the Good Hunter, where you will meet and interact with the Editor, Onodera. He revealed further info and tasked you to track down Mr.Nine.

- He will also give us a hint, and tell us that person's location, which will take us to the Qingce Village, to a specific location there.
- After looking around the property, you realise he is not at home, so the quest prompt is to look for clues around the house, and while you do that, Chang the Ninth appears out of nowhere behind you.
- After finding out he is not Mr. Nine, you left the place and went back to Nod-Krai to investigate further.
- In Nod-Krai, you saw a Seelie being attacked by Wilderness Exils; defeat them to save the Seelie.
- After defeating, you follow the Seelie, which took you to a safe place, and then you had a discussion with Nicole, and “Mr. Nine” the Seelie. This brings the quest to its end, and the passive for Fischl is unlocked.
Razor's Quest (With Lupical…)

As usual, follow the steps below:
- Go to Wolvendown to trigger the quest.
- Talk with Razor there.
- Take down the Abyssal monsters that spawn in the surrounding areas,
- Further down the path, you notice that a few wolves are fighting against dark wolves; you need to defeat them while saving the other ones.
- Finally, defeat the pack of dark wolves who were trapped inside Boreas' home. This should end the quest, and Razor should have his new passive.
Sucrose's Quest (Law of Boundaries)

Follow the steps:
- Go to the Crafting Table of Mondstadt to initiate the quest.
- After a long discussion, you get to know the details of the experiment and decide to help her.
- Go to Wind Rise, to find and defeat an Eye of the Storm. Defeat it and collect its materials.
- Move on to Springvale, and draw water from its pond.
- Come back to the Table, and concoct the potion by solving the puzzle.
- Go to Dragonspine, to try it out on a flower.
- After the test, a giant Whopper flower will spawn, defeat it, and the quest will come to an end. This will also unlock the passive for Sucrose.
With these buffs, a lot of these old characters have the chance to come back to the current meta, with their utility. So while you decide your new team comps, how about you check out our Genshin Impact page to stay updated on future leaks and updates.

Yes, very much, for example, Venti can become a dependable DPS with his new piercing arrows, instead of just a side support unit.
