Sony Santa Monica, the famous studio behind God of War's development, seems to be rolling again with another exciting title. Faye, the second wife of Kratos, is likely to step into the spotlight in the upcoming game. The studio hasn't shared any significant information about the upcoming iteration. Leaks from @NateTheHate2, Faye is the new lead in Sony Santa Monica's upcoming title. While it's expected to be an RPG, the gameplay is likely to be a bit different, with more focus on action.

The mythological title is quite action-packed, and the mechanics are unique in today's aspect. We are yet to receive detailed information on the Faye God of War game leaked, and how unique it'll be. Meanwhile, Ashhong, another reliable God of War leaker, mentioned that Santa Monica's next iteration will be an RPG.

As of now, the expected roadmap suggests the studio will release the first look at the title in 2026 itself. Meanwhile, they're also likely to roll out the game in the first half of 2027.

Who is Faye in God of War?

Fans who've been huge fans of the God of War series already know the importance of the character. Her real name is Laufey, and she is the second wife of Kratos in the Norse Saga. Faye is the Jotunn Warrior of Midgard, and first appeared as a corpse in the first God of War in 2018. The last guardian of Jotnar is also seen in the God of War Ragnarok. She appeared in Kratos' dreams, where the protagonist usually reminisces about his time with the beautiful women before the birth of their child, Atreus.
