Make the right decision, don’t be the next headline,” the hackers claimed as per Hackread.com.

Anodot Security Breach Confirmed

Another report from BleepingComputer.com confirmed that Snowflake customers were hit. Data theft attacks followed after the SaaS integrator breach. The attackers reportedly extracted the authentication tokens from Anodot. They were used to access connected Snowflake accounts since these tokens functioned as trusted credentials between services.

Following the attack, large amounts of data were exfiltrated. This breach appeared as ‘legitimate access’, and several organizations were impacted before the activity could be flagged.

Who are ShinyHunters?

The ShinyHunters hacking group are known to target identity systems, API keys and third-party integrations. They do so without depending on traditional exploits. The primary focus is to secure legitimate access, extract confidential information and pressure organizations with public-leak threats.
