• Xbox: Toggle to My Games & Apps> Owned Games and pre-load the packages visible under GTA 6.

GTA 6 Download Size and Required SSD Space

It is obvious that the vast map, deep dynamics, and several unique features will make the GTA 6 download size one of the biggest digital downloads. The GTA 6 Download Size for the Base Installation Package is reported to be around 210 GB for consoles.

Players are recommended to keep around 240 GB of free internal SSD space in order to avoid any problems during initial software installation. The GTA 6 download size is huge for the franchise history compared to GTA 5’s 20 GB download size at launch.

With the GTA 6 pre-load starting on November 12 and the huge download size, players are recommended to clear out the SSD storage to ensure they can get past the download screens.
