GTA Online Halloween Haunts 2025 Octover Event Brings UFOs, Free Masks, and Spooky Rewards

Los Santos has once again become a haunted playground, as Rockstar begins GTA Online Halloween Haunts 2025. From UFO sightings, zombie survivals, free masks, and creepy rewards, the entire month of October is chock-full of surprises that are certain to send a chill up your spine.

Players can also play limited-time modes, complete spooky challenges, and collect Halloween-themed cosmetics that won’t last long.

GTA Online Halloween Haunts 2025 Takes Over Los Santos

Halloween is arriving in Southern San Andreas with some strange sightings, supernatural madness, and epic rewards. The GTA Online Halloween Haunts 2025 event will take place during the entire month of October, where players can encounter flying UFOs, transform into monsters, and enjoy the various weekly rotating Adversary Modes to give a twist on the horror gameplay.

Whether it’s Beast vs. Slasher returning, or Slasher (Ramius Submarine) underwater horror, players can experience a new variety of creepy adventures each week, monster transformations, and double GTA$ all month. Lastly, players can collect masked Halloween fumes for free, earn more GTA$, and even see aliens abducting people in the sky of Los Santos!

GTA Online New Game Mode: New Ramius Submarine Slasher Mode

The creepiest addition this year is the new Slasher (Ramius Submarine) Adversary Mode. This underwater horror experience takes place in the dark, claustrophobic hallways of the Ramius submarine where one Slasher is placed against hunted players armed only with flashlights. After three minutes of previously mentioned tension, the hunted players are then allowed to hunt the hunter as a shotgun is handed to them, and the hunted now become the hunters.

From October 16–22, this terrifying mode will reward 2X GTA$ and RP and will then hit the pool of uninvited Slasher modes at the end of the month.

Returning Halloween Favorites

As part of the Featured Series this October, Rockstar is bringing back some favorite Halloween modes of players - with each mode running for one week and featuring Double Rewards (4X for GTA+ members). Here are the modes:

• October 2nd - 8th: Beast vs. Slasher
• October 9th - 15th: Judgement Day
• October 16th - 22nd: Slasher (Ramius Submarine)
• October 23rd - 29th: Condemned
• October 30th - November 5th: Slasher (including Ramius Submarine)

In addition, players will be able to encounter UFOs in the middle of the month, finish Ghosts Exposed missions by taking pictures of supernatural evidence, and search Los Santos for scattered Jack O' Lanterns for bonus GTA$. Zombie Survivals Return

Cayo Perico Survival and Ludendorff Cemetery Survival, two of the best loved Halloween-themed Survival maps are back! Fight through endless waves of Zombies, Juggernauts and Zombie DJ's, and defend, yourself from the apocalypse.

Cayo Perico Survival will have 2X GTA$ and RP from Oct 2-8. Ludendorff Cemetery Survival will pay out 3X from Oct 23-Nov 5. Creative people can design their own undead battles with Survival Creator and battling against Zombie Shamblers & Zombie Runners.

GTA Online Weekly Challenges and Free Halloween Rewards

The reward bundle this month is the Vinewood Undead Collection, just in time for spooky season! A chilling collection that features:

• The Slasher Clown Outfit
• The Please Stop Me Mask
• The Vinewood Zombie Tee
• The Skulls Livery for the Mammoth Avenger

Players can unlock the Vinewood Undead Collection by completing the first three GTA Online weekly challenges in October. Each weekly challenge will also earn players GTA$200,000 and a collectible mask:

• Oct 2–8: Survive two waves in Survival - Brown Vintage Zombie Mask
• Oct 9–15: Complete three Taxi Fares - Weathered Vintage Mummy Mask
• Oct 16–22: Win one round of Adversary Mode - Brown Vintage Werewolf Mask
• Oct 23–29: Survive four waves in Survival - Gray Jumping Spider Mask
• Oct 30–Nov 5: Win one round of Adversary Mode - Gray Hooded Skull Mask

Completing all of these challenges will also unlock the Vinewood Undead Collection because you want to be in full costume for Halloween fun.
