The official way to join the Honkai Star Rail beta team is by being a part of the long-term program known as Project Astro-Wrap. This program replaced the old Galaxy Explorer Program, which ended way back in 2023. From this small group of people, HoYoverse usually makes its choice and lets them know by sending an official in-game invite. However, you can be a part of it with consistent grind and a bit of luck.

How to join the Beta program for HSR 4.2V

In the following part, there is a step-by-step process, which, if you follow, might give you a chance to be a part of this team. These steps are:

• Grind the game actively and reach a minimum Trailblazer level of 30+. (Higher lvl, higher chance)
• Always keep an eye on your in-game mail. Look out for an email titled "Invitation to join Project Astro-Wrap". This email will have a HoYoverse survey link.
• Fill out the official survey, and answer all the questions honestly, as this is an official Legal Survey.
• After filling in all the required details, submit. Make sure you check all the details before submitting, as it's a one-time thing and can't be updated later.
• Now you wait for the good news, if selected you will receive an email to your registered email ID, and a notification in your HoYoLAB app.
