HoK New Hero Yango Announced: Release Date, Skills and More

Honor of Kings is going to introduce a new Assassin in the game next week. The new hero of HoK is called Yango. He has terrific crowd control and damage-dealing abilities. Using his puppets, he can manipulate fights, scout enemies and finish them off all while remaining safe at a distant location.

HoK New Hero Yango Release Date

As per the latest reveals from the official X handle of @HonorOfKings, the HoK new hero Yango, is set to be released on March 11, 2026. The game released an official trailer providing a glimpse of the gameplay of the new hero.

The new hero, Yango, has been described as a high skill cap hero, difficult to master but highly rewarding. Yango attacks by summoning puppets and distracts opponents with his positioning. HoK New Hero Yango Skills

HoK new hero Yango, has 3 skills and 1 ultimate. Yango's core mechanics include fighting using his puppets that mimic the abilities of his enemies. Yango makes use of 4 occult arts forms to control his puppet. They are as follows:

• Return: Yango calls back his puppet after launching it, dealing damage to the enemy in its path.
• Substitution: This helps Yango swap his position with the puppets, damaging the enemies in the path.
• Binding: This skill, when used for the first time, deals damage and slows the enemy. A second hit stuns the enemy, dealing more damage.
• Breakout: Yango uses the puppet to dash towards the enemy, damaging them.

Passive Skill Manipulation

Whenever Yango or his puppets' basic attack hits an enemy, Yango gains Hero shards and restores HP. Yango can accumulate 150 hero shards at once.

Once Yango collects 50 Hero shards, he can summon a puppet of the enemy he is fighting to help him in the battle. Yango's main body is capable of doing 4 occult arts at once; they are given below:

Skill 1: Occult Arts Umbra

Yango hits the enemy by throwing his puppet towards it. The hit deals serious physical damage and disrupts the enemy by launching it. The skill also boosts Yango's movement and Speed once it brings back the puppet. If the puppet is destroyed, Yango gets stunned.

Skill 2: Occult Arts Zhi Chu Luan

Yango deals damage by hitting the enemy with 4 paper birds. This is the primary damage-dealing skill.

Skill 3: Occult Arts Shadow Crucifixion

Yango deals damage by throwing strings and retrieving them. Every hit also slows the enemy's movements.

Ultimate: Dispersal

It helps Yango escape enemy hits. He disappears and reappears at a different location some time later within a short range.

The first skill keeps him safe. Once he collects 50 Hero shards, Yango can use them to transform into an enemy hero to turn the tide of the battle. He can revert and spam skills 2 and 3 twice to deal maximum damage.
