HoYoverse's games are known for their colorful, anime-style graphics and comedic undertone. But according to teases, their next title is moving away from this template. HoYoverse The Weavers leaked gameplay is being circulated in the gaming community, and the footage shows a realistic dark-fantasy action game.

HoYoverse has not released any official announcement yet regarding these leaks, with the game currently being associated with names like The Weavers and Nodusfall. With reports suggesting that The Weavers CBT began recently, let's take a look at everything revealed about the game so far.

With the latest Monster Hunter Outlanders 3rd Closed Beta Test happening earlier this month, we could be getting another game similar to the fan-favourite series.

The screenshots and videos being shared around show a fantasy world with large monsters. We also see character combat and what looks like a weakness-breaking system. But not everything looks like a copy of Monster Hunter.

The monster designs of Nodusfall lean more towards fantasy-based traditional RPG bosses found in the Souls and Elden Ring games. The first look of the characters is also in accordance with the gritty, realistic, dark themes found in these games. We have yet to confirm whether the game will be in the same gacha genre as other games from the developers.

Nodusfall or the Weavers Closed Beta: Everything We Know So Far

As per leaks, this HoYoverse project has already entered testing. Most of the leaked gameplay footage might be coming from The Weavers CBT. Since everything happened silently, with no announcement coming from the developers, it is expected an online CBT registration for the public beta might be happening soon.

But HoYoverse is definitely laying the groundwork for its eventual reveal. The Nodusfall X account already received the verified checkmark. The Weavers gameplay also shows that action combat and the world map have already been developed. While we only got a brief look at the game, more leaks might surface as the CBT goes on.

The recent leaks also claim that the project is for all platforms. If proven to be true, this will be a huge change coming from HoYoverse, as all their previous titles like Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero were designed keeping mobile accessibility in mind.
