Palworld Mobile Announced: Krafton Brings the Global Hit to Smartphones

Krafton announced it will launch Palworld Mobile next month at one of the largest international gaming exhibitions. The event will take place at BEXCO in the city of Busan and will run from November 13 to 16, offering attendees their first chance to look at the mobile version of the game firsthand, which has gained gamers' attention globally.

Krafton Palworld Mobile announced, which is being developed by PUBG Studio, is also the team behind PUBG: Battlegrounds for PC. The game is based on Palworld, a successful franchise developed by Japanese developer Pocketpair. Krafton and PUBG Studio are collaborating to bring Palworld to the mobile smartphone audience.

Krafton Palworld Mobile Announced: Features Will be Mostly the Same as PC

As per the report, Krafton's mobile version will retain the essence of the original game but will add new experiences that are adapted to handheld devices. Players can expect to enjoy the same core elements that made Palworld popular, such as collecting and raising Pals, exploring an open world, surviving harsh environments, and building elements of the game.

The developers will also be delivering gameplay that is more mobile-friendly, for example, including more visible controls and strategic battles that blend combinations of skills.

The original Palworld quickly became a global phenomenon after its early access launch on Steam in January 2024. It gained rapid player engagement by introducing its novel gameplay that combined collection and survival with crafting. The original Palworld attracted over 32 million players in just one year of release, making it one of the most successful new IPs in the global gaming market.

Krafton's Growing Interest in Mobile Gaming Adaptations

Krafton has recently demonstrated significant interest in growing its franchises in mobile gaming. One of its major successes has been to launch Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), which is the local variant of PUBG Mobile in India, which had been banned in the country in 2020 for regulatory reasons. After the original title was shut down, Krafton worked to develop this version within the regulatory frameworks.

BGMI became an instant hit after its release, rebuilding the game’s community and proving Krafton’s commitment to adapting global experiences for mobile players. No doubt, this focus on mobile platforms has helped the company reach a wider audience and sustain long-term engagement with its titles.

Krafton will do a Palworld Mobile demo booth at the G-STAR 2025 event for fans to experience the game for the first time. Visitors will be able to experience a demo of the gameplay and participate in exclusive activities while talking with the game developers.

Krafton also plans to run its hugely popular CAFÉ PUBG experience from the previous year's event, which is a themed rest area where guests can rest and enjoy light refreshments, while also playing smaller game experiences based on PUBG: Battlegrounds.

The booth will be located in the BTC Hall of BEXCO Exhibition Hall 1, and Krafton has stated that more details about its lineup, events, and programs will be revealed in the coming days.
