League of Legends Wild Rift 7.1 Patch Notes Important Changes
While you can check the entire patch notes on the official Riot Games website, we suggest you check out the main highlights of LoL Wild Rift patch notes below:
K’Sante Release Date Revealed!

The biggest highlight of the League of Legends Wild Rift patch 7.1 update is the arrival of K’Sante, a skilled tank warrior coming from the fictional world of Nazumah. With Ntofos, his giant weapons, K’Sante carries the nickname Pride of Nazumah. While the champion has been on the LoL roster since 2022, it's his first time appearing in Wild Rift. Stay tuned as he finally comes out on April 9, at 00:01 UTC.
Runes Have Been Adjusted for Good

The uneven rune abilities had made builds either meaningless or extremely overpowered. The League of Legends Wild Rift patch 7.1 finally fixes it with several runes being adjusted as requested by players.
Additionally, a new Guardian Rune has been introduced to provide more build configurations for tank supports and artillery mages. The Guardian Rune guards allies within 350 units of the user, enabling a decent protection barrier. Moreover, if you or the ally takes damage while the rune is active, both of you will gain a shield of 45 - 180 + 5% bonus Health + 15% Ability Power for 2 seconds.

Champions are No Exception

The following champions have been nerfed in League of Legends Wild Rift patch 7.1:
- Irelia: Her ability to heal is being reduced.
- Fiora: Her Duelist's Dance ability is being nerfed slightly.
- Renekton: Renekton's healing is being nerfed, as he has been a steady headache for most players.
- Mel: Her late-game damage output is being reduced.
- Ziggs: His first ability's damage is being nerfed, while other abilities' cooldowns are being reduced to increase cast frequency.
- Rakan: His burst damage is being reduced to make him feel less overwhelming for others.
- Yasuo: His first ability's base damage and ultimate's armor penetration are reduced slightly.
On the contrary, these champions have been buffed in the new patch:
- Zoe: She is getting a massive buff with an increase in second ability's base damage, third ability's hit feedback, and a reduction in her ultimate's cooldown period.
- Corki: His overall damage output is getting buffed to level up against other champions.
Apart from the above characters, Bard and Shyvana are getting adjusted in the new patch, too. For Bard, the developers have fixed his ultimate move's indicator timing. Earlier, the indicator popped up after the ability was cast. After the update, the indicator will appear when the ability is being cast. Next, Shyvana's late-game mobility from her second ability is being reduced. On the brighter side, her durability is getting buffed, so she can stay in a battle for longer.
