As LoL 2026 Season 1: For Demacia is about to raise its curtains, Lead Game Designer Matt Leung-Harrison has once again provided a LoL Patch 26.7 preview. And it's quite evident that the LoL fans are up for a treat, just like the previous patch. As per the update schedule revealed way back in January, patch 26.7 is likely to go live on April 1, 2026.

Based on what we've seen on the preview, tons of Champions (a mix of Ranged and Melee characters) are receiving tweaks before the patch hits the live servers. On that note, this article will explore what we can expect after seeing the League of Legends patch 26.7 preview.

League of Legends Patch 26.7 preview: Pivotal Buffs, Nerfs, and System Adjustments

Similar to every other time, @RiotPhroxzon, the Lead Game Designer, has shared LoL Patch 26.7 preview before the original patch and its changes hit the live servers. Unlike the previous patch, the number of Champions receiving buffs is much less.

Meanwhile, the developers have focused on nerfing quite a few Champions. Even though Matt Leung-Harrison has promised to share more reasoning regarding the buffs, nerfs, and adjustments behind your favourite Champions, here's a brief of the list:

The developers have pulled the farming penalty away fully in the upcoming LoL patch 26.7. According to the devs:

We're going to pull this all the way this patch. This may result in some farming support shenanigans, but then you're also denying your bot carry their quest progression; we're giving it a go to see if anything breaks
