August has been a great month for Marvel Rivals. At the beginning of the month, we had the Queen's Codex Event. It was added to season 3.5. Started on 8th August, 2025, the event came bearing new skins for Black Widow, The Thing, and Hela. Safe to say, it was a massive success, given that the players can accumulate up to 7,200 XP regularly in addition to having permanent access to unlock the rewards upon purchasing the premium pass.

Following the success of Queen's Codex Event, the game dropped the Ancient Powers Awaken event, which featured new skins for Venom, Iron Fist, and Doctor Strange.

As of now, the Marvel Rivals community is enjoying the Ancient Powers Awaken event. This came in the form of a pass, which went live on 21st August, 2025. From the stunning skin of Doctor Strange to many other exciting awards, the mini-pass offers a broad range of rewards. However, only the premium event pass holders get to finish the pass slowly, as these rewards are subject to expiry for gamers who do not have the premium event pass.

Amid this rush of the Marvel Rivals community, @MarvelRivals took it to their official X to make the Marvel Rivals Chrono Storm Event announcement, giving the gaming community a chance to enjoy some bonus Chrono Tokens by finishing the weekly and season missions.

What We Know From The Marvel Rivals Chrono Storm Event Announcement

• You can earn 2x Chrono Tokens from weekly missions, season missions, and the challenges.
• Players can earn up to 2000 bonus Chrono Tokens.
• The event begins on 28th August, 2025 (9:00 UTC), and ends on 12th September, 2025 (8:59 UTC).
