Scheduled for January 16, 2026, at 9:00 AM UTC, the new season introduces Deadpool, new maps, updated hero abilities, and several quality-of-life improvements.

Marvel Rivals Season 6 Dev Update released, paving the way for one of the most anticipated Marvel characters, Deadpool, to join the battlefield. Known for being extremely versatile, Deadpool can fill all three major roles (Duelist, Vanguard and Strategist) in a team battle setting. While his Ultimate Charge rate may vary based on how you choose to play him, Deadpool's Dual Swords and Weapons (Pistols) give him the ability to inflict damage and restore health to both himself and his teammates on demand! As such, he will certainly provide your team with a new layer of depth.

Elsa Bloodstone is also set to make her debut soon, functioning as a Duelist, Strategist, or hybrid. Thanks to her unique ability to heal herself using magical abilities, she can take advantage of long-range weaponry, such as rifles and use magic to deliver tremendous amounts of damage to enemies.

Players must note that her arrival is expected deeper into the season, reportedly in the 6.5 update.

New Maps in Marvel Rivals Season 6 Night at the Museum

Players will explore the Collector's museum on the new combo map, Museum of Contemplation, which is introduced in the Marvel Rivals Season 6 Night at the Museum update. While exploring the Collector's Museum, players will be able to use a variety of distinctive tactics and strategies in the dynamic gameplay of Museum of Contemplation.

A significant update is also made to Times Square, which includes a new photo mode, live match broadcasts on large screens, and a new area called the Corberine Club. In-game, players can select filters, change camera angles, and record amazing moments.

Hero Balance and Proficiency Updates

This dev update includes a comprehensive overhaul to hero proficiency and balance. Some of the key changes are:

With the launch of Season 6, the zombie mode and Resource Rumble map will be retired from quick matches. NetEase promises a brand-new PvE mode coming in the first half of 2026, ensuring players have fresh content to explore beyond the standard competitive modes.

Season 6 will also introduce several new skins and accessories for some of the most popular heroes: Deadpool, Rogue, Doctor Strange, Blade, Iron Man, Storm, Captain America, and Black Panther.

The highest placed factions in the Marvel Rivals Championship will receive a more valuable loot bag that contains units, sprays, and emblems/upgrades.
