This upgrade is a combination of your hero's ult effects becoming animated effects, UI effects and color enhancements that allow your hero to stand out in every game. Please be aware that the ult VFX are solely client-side, meaning that you will only see the ult VFX while playing the game, to avoid visual messiness and clarity for every player that is engaged in the game.

The Summer Special Vol. 2 Event Pass includes three main skins focused on a swimsuit theme, plus additional rewards with cosmetics such as sprays, emotes, nameplates, and MVP animations. Here’s the breakdown:

1. Acquire the Base Skin

To begin, you need to get a skin that has VFX. Base skin prices range from 2,000-2,200 Units, depending on the bundle.

2. Purchase the Ultimate Ability VFX

Once you own the skin, go to the customization screen and look for Ultimate Ability VFX. This is a purchase of 600 Unstable Molecules (the premium currency converted 1:1 to Lattice).

3. Equip and Customize

You have a chance to review the upgraded visuals before ultimately confirming. The effects accommodate any alternate colorway of the skin. You can disable or change the ultimate VFX anytime you want under the customization menu.
