The sun is not going down for summer just yet in Marvel Rivals. NetEase has made it official the Marvel Rivals Summer Special Event has returned in wave two! Titled Summer Special Vol.2, this new update brings stylish swimsuit skins themed for the beach for some new heroes in the game. Players will once again be able to jump back into the heat, complete missions, and unlock these limited-time skins for their collection starting this week!

Marvel Rivals Summer Special Event Vol.2 Release Date

The Marvel Rivals Summer Special Event Vol.2 will begin on September 18, 2025, at 2 AM PDT. This is a brand new seasonal celebration as part of Season 4, which is a continuation from the sunny beach theme of the Summer Party Event that was the theme of Season 3.

Like some of the events before, Vol.2, like the last event, will act as a mini battle pass, where players will have the opportunity to earn XP through playing matches or completing event missions, and earn rewards over the total levels that players earn XP.

The event will have a limited time, but if the player purchases the premium ticket, they will have permanent access to the battle pass. So if you purchase the premium ticket, you can take your time and complete the battle pass unit at your own pace, without rushing.

All Swimsuit Skins in Marvel Rivals Summer Special Event Vol.2

In Summer Special Vol.2, we are introducing three new summer swimsuit skins for Marvel's famous superheroes. These brilliant swimsuit skins are the main highlight of the event and can be earned in event tiers.

The Punisher's Aqua Arsenal and Invisible Woman's Azure Shade swimsuit skins are also a part of the summer special collection and can be purchased individually through the in-game store.

The Marvel Rivals Summer Special event rewards function as a Battle Pass, with free and premium tracks. By earning XP over the weekend and leveling up the free and premium rewards tracks, you can unlock new cosmetics, Unstable Molecules, and emotes.
