The last couple of months have been going crazy for Marvel fans. Leak after leak about Iron Man and Wolverine is selling like hotcakes, especially if your feed is accustomed to this type of content. And Insomniac's potentially upcoming standalone title about Venom, the popular Antihero Symbiote.

What started in 2023 as a leak might become true in a few years. Apparently, an alleged Insomniac employee posted a huge thread addressing Marvel's Venom Game Leaks, their latest project. The user has mentioned they're posting this as a rumour to follow the standard protocol of the r/insomniacleaks subreddit.

Undoubtedly, Eddie Brock will be the centre of attention as the protagonist. The thread later revealed that Carnage will be the antagonist. Yes, if you've been following the latest generation of Marvel movies, that Red Symbiote will be the main villain. And the most interesting part is that Miles and Peter will also be a part of this story. Let's discuss a couple of key aspects of Marvels Venom Gameplay, and more.

Marvel's Venom Game Leaks Hint at a Bigger Story Than Fans Expected

In a world where game leaks are quite common regardless of their source, it's uncommon to see one that comes from an alleged employee. This certainly looks like a move where the company wants to increase the hype among Marvel fans.

Whatever the reason is, the Marvels Venom Game Leaks reveal a massive plot. On paper, that screams take this with a grain of salt. And yet, the detailing of the story makes it quite believable.

It goes without saying that Eddie Brock, the journalist, will be the story's protagonist. The first part of the story will portray the character's childhood. And most likely, it'll be shown through cutscenes. Then comes the part where players get to control Eddie. It's the part where Eddie is breaking into Oscorp, fully based on the Marvel Comic.

Both Peter and Miles Will Be Playable in the Story

The most interesting part of the story is that you can play the ultimate trio: Eddie, Peter, and Miles. Miles, however, will be unavailable for a bit, as Eddie will reportedly destroy him in the first act.

And the plot becomes interesting as Peter and Eddie will work together to fight against the main antagonist, Carnage. The journalists' obsession with Cletus (bearer of Carnage) will receive the main focus. Do remember that all of this is from an alleged Insomniac employee. Therefore, we request that everyone take this whole thing with a grain of salt.

Marvel's Venom Gameplay Leak Hints at Carnage as the Final Boss

While the story looks quite believable at first glance, the alleged Insomniac employee mentioned that Marvels Venom Gameplay will be mission-based. Apparently, Insomniac is planning to make it a single-player experience, quite similar to Spider-Man 2's gameplay. The source has mentioned that gamers can swing like Peter, and Venom can grab lunges, as seen in the movie.

Another major update is that the source revealed that Carnage's symbiotes can infect Eddie's body and damage you over time. While the gameplay certainly seems interesting, the music will be incredible for this. The famous American composer, John Paesano, will be on duty. This is the same composer who has worked with the Marvel movie franchise before.

Marvel's Venom Game Potential Release Date And Pricing Leaks

Meanwhile, the source also revealed a potential Marvels Venom release date, and it's around 2027. Apparently, Insomniac is still planning to market this potential title around 2026 or early 2027. Despite all this physical disc-related controversy, Insomniac Games will potentially release one, and the title will cost around $49.99 in the US, according to the same anonymous source.

Also, it goes without saying that this potential title will be a PlayStation exclusive. Even though the information seems justified, there's only one doubt regarding the Voice Artist. The alleged Insomniac employee said it was Tony Todd who voiced Venom, and that he died back in 2024.

Therefore, either Todd voiced all of Venom's parts two years ago, or all of this information is just to give us fake hope.
