MLBB Frozen Sea Showdown Guide: Here's How to Get the Rewards

To make the ongoing season 40 more entertaining, the MOONTON Games have introduced a new game mode in MLBB, Frozen Sea Showdown. Rather than focusing on map objectives, teamwork, or outplays, the new mode focuses only on getting the highest kill score.

MLBB Frozen Sea Showdown Event Overview

The Frozen Sea Showdown mode is a 4v4 brawl where all players play as Franco. Taking place in a small, narrow icy map with a river flowing through it, and each team spawns on the opposite banks. Each match lasts for a maximum of 10 minutes or until a team eliminates the opponents 30 times.

This can be done by hooking the enemies from across the river and pulling them to your side to eliminate them. Do note that players cannot get any gold or equipment in this mode.

Instead, their skills and stats will be upgraded as the game goes on. Killing an enemy successfully resets the hook cooldown, while getting more kills makes your Franco stronger and larger, making it more visible to the enemy side.

Apart from Franco's regular hooks, players can also unlock unique hook skills by killing the crabs spawning in the river or destroying the chests on their side. Some of these skills are inspired by MLBB's popular heroes, including Eudora, Lolita, Lylia, etc. Let's take a look at all the new unique hook skills that can be unlocked in Mobile Legends.

• Triple Strike Hook: Splits into three hooks to cover a wide conical area.

• Remote Recall Hook: It can track enemy movement.

• Thunderbolt: Stuns enemies wherever they are on the map.

• Stun Smash: Targets a circular area, stunning and pulling any enemy close to it.

• Hook Reflect: Creates a deflection shield that can reflect the enemy hook back.

• Flashback: Return your character to its position 2 seconds ago.

• Bounce Hook: It can bounce off walls to hit enemies hiding behind cover.

• Enable “Aim Panning”: Go to your settings and enable aim panning in your controls tab. It will give you a wider view of the map and allow you to spot enemies before they see you.

• Use your “Flicker” smartly: You can either use hook and flicker to pull your enemy deeper into your side, or you can save your flicker to escape from the enemy side when your character gets hooked.

• Farm Chests and Crabs: Do not forget the crabs and chests that will be spawning on the map. They will grant buffs and skills, making the brawl more enjoyable.
