Mobile Legends Update: Hero Adjustments and Balance Changes

While the MLBB community is enjoying everything the various running events of the game, one of the looming questions in the community is when we can expect the next Mobile Legends Update.

Among all the events since the last update, the Stardust Vault and the Lunar Scion's Summon have been the highlights. By taking part in these events, players can earn some exclusive resources and skins. However, given that the last Mobile Legends update came out last year, the community is eager to find out what's in it for the first update of the year.

When is the Next Mobile Legends Update?

The 2.1.47 patch is the latest patch update, which arrived on 28th January 2026 with a revamped Eudora. Moreover, there are other heroes and battlefield adjustments, along with system and mode changes that were introduced into the game. MOONTON Games has yet to specify the release date of the next Mobile Legends Update. However, in the upcoming update, many new events and skins are expected to be released.

What will be in the next Mobile Legends Update?

While MOONTON hasn't specifically shared what we can expect from the next Mobile Legends Update, there are a few things that have been leaked and teased.

• Two painted skins of Freya are available from 1st March on the March Starlight Pass. There is also a new CC skin of Tigreal on Exquisite Collection, which will be available from the 1st of March.
• Collector and Lucky Box skins featuring Melissa, Karina, and Minisitthar will be available as well in the next Mobile Legends update. Moreover, in a Pass Event from 3rd March, we will see two Lylia Covenant Skins featured.
• From 2nd March to 16th March, we will see a Promo Carnival in the game.
• From 8th March, we will see a Fanny Legend Skin Event that features a hefty prize pool.
• On 12th March 2026, Marcel will arrive as the new hero.
• The Naruto Collab Part 2, featuring Itachi and Minato skins, will be available from 27th March 2026. There will also be an MLBB x Naruto Draw Event that includes six collab skins.

Additionally, we will also see new skins for the likes of Granger, Lesley, and Zhuxin arriving in the next Mobile Legends update.

Now that you have an idea as to what you can expect from the next Mobile Legends Update, let us take a moment to look back at the updates that have arrived in recent months. In the last MLBB update, we saw multiple equipment adjustments, battlefield adjustments, and in-game hero adjustments. The last update came right after 28 days, which featured hero and system adjustments along with other balance changes.

How often do Mobile Legends updates come?

Unlike other mobile games, when it comes to updates, Mobile Legends does not follow a consistent route for updates. At times, there are two MLBB updates in the span of two weeks; other times, it can be a whole month of the game without any updates. For example, the Patch 2.1.30a update in November 2025 came after 1 month and 3 days.
