When is the next Brawl Stars update? Release Date, Time and All Details

After the release of the latest Brawl Stars season in early January 2026, players are already eagerly anticipating the arrival of the next Brawl Stars update. According to information revealed on the latest episode of Brawl Talk, released on December 13, 2025, we will be getting two new Brawlers this season, with one already being released when the season started. Moreover, new events might also roll out with the Brawl Stars next update.

Let's find out when the next Brawl Stars update will take place and what it will introduce in this game.

When is the next Brawl Stars Update?

The exact date as to when the Brawl Stars next update will take place is still a mystery since Supercell hasn't officially announced it yet. The last Brawl Stars update rolled out earlier this year on January 1, 2026. It introduced the new Brawl Stars Steampunk Battle Pass and a new Legendary Brawler called Pierce, a long-range sharpshooter.

However, after looking at the December 13 Brawl Talk and going through all the previous Brawl Stars updates we have gotten so far, we expect a new update to arrive exactly 13 days before the current season ends. This is based on history, where we see a new mid-season Brawler being released just 13 days before the season ends. With the current season ending on February 5, 2026, we expect the next Brawl Stars update to be either on January 23 or 24, 2026.

What will be in the next Brawl Stars update?

In regards to the next Brawl Stars update, it will primarily be focused on the new upcoming Brawler called Glowbert. Glowbert will be a Mythic Support Brawler. Its kit includes:

• Trait: Recharge Super by healing
• Attack: Glowbeam - Shoot a beam towards an enemy and an ally and tether them to continuously deal damage to the former and heal the latter as long as they are close to you.
• Super: Creep from the Deep - Instil Fear in all enemies standing in a cone-shaped area in front of you. They cannot attack and will be slowed down for two seconds.
• Gadget 1: Slippery Savior - Dash in one direction, along with healing yourself and teammates on the way.
• Gadget 2: More Lumens - Supercharge Glowbeam to deal/heal double for a few seconds.
• Star Power 1: Abiotic Ecosystem - If your Glowbeam is tethered to an enemy and an ally at the same time, reduce damage dealt by the enemy and increase damage dealt by your ally.
• Star Power 2: Parasitism - When your Glowbeam is tethered to an enemy, heal for a percentage of the damage dealt.
• Hypercharge: To be revealed soon.

Apart from the release of this new Brawler, we may also get some balance changes, where certain Bralwers will be buffed or nerfed. Additionally, there could also be the arrival of new in-game events as well. However, nothing is confirmed as of now except for the release of the new Brawler Glowbert.

Additionally, the last Brawl Talk also gave us insight into what will be released on the next Brawl Stars Brawlentines season, which will start on February 6, 2026. This season will feature a new limited-time game mode called Lovebombing, a modified 2v2 version of Wipeout, and Two Player Bosses. Both of these modes are aimed at couples to play this game together during the Valentine's season.

When is the next Brawl Talk?

The team behind Brawl Stars always announces new content and changes to the game through the Brawl Talk videos. These videos are posted on the official Brawl Stars YouTube channel, along with being uploaded on X and Instagram as well. These videos give insights into what the developers have been working on and what they plan to introduce next.

As per their track record, they release a new Brawl Talk episode every month, typically two weeks after the season starts. Judging by this timeline, the next Brawl Talk will take place on either January 13 or 14, a week after which the next update will be rolled out.
