Pokémon GO Sunkissed Shores Event: Dondozo Debut, Raid Bosses, Rewards, and More

Pokémon GO Sunkissed Shores Event Announced

Dondozo's Debut

The Pokémon Go Sunkissed Shores event introduces Dondozo, the Big Catfish Pokémon from the Paldea region. Dondozo will be available in 3-Star Raids during the event. If you are really lucky, you might even get to see shiny Dondozo. And this is unarguably, the most talked-about thing of the event, since it's the debut of this new Pokémon.

Raid Battles

Boost your XP with 2× XP for winning Raid Battles during the event. Featured Raid Bosses include:

3-Star Raids: Dondozo, Slakoth wearing a visor, Tatsugiri (all three forms), Alolan Raichu, Alolan Marowak

1-Star Raids: Shellder, Bounsweet, Sandygast, Lechonk, Alolan Exeggutor

Wild Encounters

Enjoy increased spawns of summer-themed Pokémon in the wild:

Pokémon Go Sunkissed shore event schedule

The Pokémon GO Sunkissed Shores event is scheduled to start on Monday, August 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. local time, and will end on Sunday, August 31, 2025, at 8:00 p.m. local time. All event features and bonuses will be available within this timeframe.

Participate in Raids: You can get a 2× XP bonus by participating in raids, particularly 3-Star Raids with Dondozo.

Complete Timed Research: Make sure you complete both free and paid timed research tasks before the end of the event to claim all rewards.
